Ordered this for dressmaking, re-drafting patterns, rather than quilting. Looks good and solid, unlikely to crack, break or bend, and I’m hoping for many years of use from it. One negative is the Amazon packaging: a huge box, filled with paper, for this one item despite me ordering an 18” inch office ruler for my daughter at the the same time which could have been included in the box (but was sent in its own huge box filled with paper!). Interesting that the ‘packaging review’ field has disappeared from the options.

Product is exactly what I wanted can't really fault it. What I can fault is... the ridiculous overpackaging. It already came in a perfect sized cardboard why dump it in a HUGE box on top? Crazy. Also it seems a bit overpriced for what is basically a thick plastic ruler. But i think a lot of sewing stuff has gone up in price due to mask making.

I use this for quilting everyday when I don't need the 24" ruler. It is well made and has good markings. The yellow stands out against the fabric too. There are little stickers to attach to make it non-slip and I took one star off as this as not explained anywhere - I nearly threw them away!

Arrived next day in a huge package. I had seen this on previous reviews. I appreciate the need to protect this item but surely a smaller box would have sufficed. Cardboard won’t be wasted, using it to form part of a template for another project. The ruler is sturdy and the fluorescent numbers and divisions make it easy to use on all fabrics. I like the little rubberised dots which are supplied to stick to the back of the ruler to prevent slipping. If I hadn’t seen this comment in a review I probably would have missed this and thrown them out. No information given with the item. All in all a good purchase.

Good product but find that all these rulers and squares are expensive but you only need to buy them once. I have just started quilting and this ruler is very handy and easy to handle.

Easy to use and nice big size. Comes with anti-slip stickers which you add yourself.It’s also rigid but still has some give so it works with your fabric rather than against it.

This is a good tool for using when sewing as it is easy to use and gives a more accurate measurement than a tape measure. It’s wider than a normal ruler and can hold two or more layers of fabric in place before cutting.

the description for the thickness of the product is wrong. It is not 0.5cm thick but much less.I expected a sturdier ruler but is not a problem for most people.You can buy for a lot less if prepared to wait for shipping.A good transparent ruler which has a decent length when working with fabrics and a roller cutting blade.
