Perfect size box for a short fishing trip or even lunch and cold drinks on a building site etc. It does its job well and is very sturdy. Plus it’s a good size to sit on.

I did like Yeti. But in recent years they have become very overpriced, and even worse, trendy. I wanted a cool box for taking meal preps to work for the week. I think I should have gone a size up, this will take about three or four sensible sized tupperwears if you take the tray out of the top. But the size is convenient, so I'm actually pretty content with it. Now it's gotten a little dirty and beaten up, it has a nice retro character to it. It suits me nicely, does the job, didn't cost much money, and I don't look like a fashion victim. Very happy with this, highly recommended.

Genuinely good. Does exactly what it says in the description. Keeps things cool for a long time and is quite rugged. The shoulder strap is a good idea and well thought out. Would definitely recommend. 👍

Love this thing, use it for my lunch daily, fits a large lunch box and a few cans or bottles of water. I use ice blocks rather than ice cubes and it does keep cool in the back of a van with closed doors even in this recent heatwave, how ever keep it out of sunlight and open the van / car doors to allow a vent and it will stay much cooler. Only annoying bit is the white top container doesn’t fit regular sized cutlery

I’ve had a few lunch boxes including the retro Stanley box which was way too small for someone working in the construction trade every day and those cheap amazon Chinese made cool bags which just flop and crease within 3 months. This is the best lunch box I have had so far, solidly built and big enough to keep a good supply of food and drink in to last a full day. You get what you pay for and I have a feeling this will last a while over the others. Looks cool too.

Really pleased with our Engel cooler. I needed a cooler that would hold its temperature for 24/36 hours. The cooler performs really well if you pre cool it first. Cooling the box over night with ice before adding the bits you want to transport and either ice or gel ice packs does keep everything lovely and cold for up to 36 hours which is what we wanted. We also love the look of the cooler which is finished in Grassland. It’s slightly vintage looking and works well in the environments we have used it in. I think the test of most items is the comments you get from others and the Engel cooler has definitely has some positive responses from friends. In short, it’s a great cooler on many levels and we highly recommend you consider one. Or if you prefer, you could buy a massively over priced Yeti cooler which won’t do anything this cooler already does. The choice is yours!

Das Design erinnert ein bisschen an 50/60er Jahre Ikonen. Anders, erfrischend und nicht kitschig. Die Qualität überzeugt mit Edelstahl Applikationen und einer stabilen und effektiven Isolierung. Die 13qt Größe reicht auch für liegende Weinflaschen und 1 Liter Wasserflaschen. Bei einem Test über 24 Stunden, bei dem drei Packungen Gratin (nicht gefroren), eine 0,33 Liter Flasche Bier sowie vier Kühlakkus und ein Termometer eingelegt wurden und die Box bei Raumtemperatur stand, wurde kein Verlust verzeichnet. D.h. die Box kühlt effektiv über mindestens 24 Stunden. Da die Akkus bereits die meiste Energie verloren haben, kann man davon ausgehen, dass die Temperatur nach 24 Stunden anfängt zu steigen. Warum wir nicht länger getestet haben lag daran, dass die meisten Anwendungen innerhalb 24 Stunden geschehen und oft innerhalb von acht Stunden. Somit ist diese Box völlig ausreichend und stellt ein Produkt dar, was man aufgrund des Designs und der Qualität empfehlen könnte.

This cooler keeps everything inside it COLD. Even if the ice melts, the temperature doesn't change. This is a great value for the price!

It fits quite a bit, not as much as the large under armour - but with the ua, it got bulky and I couldn’t stand the floppy lid, and the crappy zippers. I wanted a cooler that sits upright nicely, that I could “pop” open easily while driving, without having to try to unzip it. This cooler is the right size, good latches and handle, and the strap is great. I stuck a bunch of stickers on it to personalize it more. Sorry, I’m not using it to keep food cold or use ice, because I have a fridge at work, I just use this as a lunch box. But ENGEL is Australian and has been around a long time, and makes very good products so I’m sure it works very well at keeping items cold. It also comes with a plastic insert to keep sandwiches off your ice.
