Seems to be solid construction. grip is good. Really like the opening in the front for lunges. Plenty of length for weight plates. Very happy with purchase and the price. I have only ever used one other a gym. I do not know the brand of it but I know they paid a lot more for it as most of their equipment is brand name. This one is way better than the one that gym had.

I was excited to try this bar but it arrived damaged twice. The knurling is too passive. I will try a different brand.

Box arrived damaged and the rubber/plastic knob was broken. The email on paperwork was rejected and an online email didn’t work either. Hoping company sees review and reaches out to replace knob. I have used the bar several times and works fine.

Mine came bent. The top of the hexagon is more than a few degrees off from being straight. The bar itself came well packed using cardboard and wood. I don't it's something that happened in shipping.Not worth lugging to Kohls for a return since it functions as-is.I'm not even that upset since the product is so cheap vs competitors.

The box it came in is huge and it had shifted and poked a hole in one end. Surprisingly no damage though. It is not the best trap bar in the world, but, for the cost, it's a pretty good deal. Straight. Welds appear good. Sleeves do rotate, but there's obviously no bearings in there - just metal on metal. But, hey, it's a trap bar. My older trap bar has solid sleeves. The sleeves can accommodate about 340 pounds of rubber bumpers which is why I bought it. My BOS bar maxed out at about 230. Knurling is very passive. It appears that it's gonna do exactly what I had hoped for which is why I gave it 5 stars.

You will not find a better bar on amazon for the price! So glad I chose this one instead of the other flimsy bars at this price point.
