I flew Spirit for first time and used as my only item. Perfect size, soooo many compartments while staying light, one waterproof, at least one vented, and straps to cinch down inside and out to just MAKE IT FIT! Made it very easy to organize too both for inflight and at destination. Zippers never jammed. I would buy anything they have for other airlines with size requirements (especially Europe)!

The WANDF Travel Backpack For Spirit Airlines Personal Item Bag is a great product and a great deal.I purchased this bag to meet the personal item size for bags under many airlines. Although United Airlines gave the personal item max size at 17x10x9 no one looked twice at this pack at 18x14x8.The size is perfect. I packed with room to spare for a trip to Honduras where I volunteered at an orphanage.I liked the pockets and the way they are organized.The main pocket zipper concerned me as I have used YKK zippers with military equipment but it held up well. On the return I stuffed it with t-shirts, gifts, and a leather jacket I purchased in Honduras and it stood the test. I will be recommending this bag to friends and fellow volunteers and I will use it next month on my domestic flight.

I absolutely love the organizational layout of this back pack! It is extremely functional and has so much space. I love all of the extra features compared to other bags on amazon in this price point such as the water bottle holder, charging cord port, hidden pocket at the bottom of the bag, and passport pocket on the side. Overall, it was also very comfortable and the compression straps helped pack it down a bit. I also love how it opens like a suitcase which makes it easy to use packing cubes or fit plenty of clothes nicely rolled up. I've used it for spirit airlines and had no issues, but it definitely does not fit under the seat once fully packed, but I was able to place it in the overhead bin. Both of my trips were 5-6 day trips and I was able to fit everything I needed. My biggest complaint and the reason I can't give it 5 stars is because it is cheaply made. Both times I've used it, the zipper seams have expanded to the point where I can see the threads and I worried it would rip. A few more uses and it will undoubtedly come apart which makes me sad because of how badly I wanted to keep this bag. I wish they had a premium version... I would gladly pay triple for this bag if it were made with more durable materials!

For the money, this is a great "personal item" to not only bring on a plane, but use as a weekender. It was a good value, but I would pay another $10 if the material weight was a bit heavier - because I will definitely be using this thing. The compartments are smart with plenty of room for small and frequently accessible things. I'd also suggest, though, the backpack straps should be removable because the carry handle is a natural for typical travel. Highly recommend. (To the marketing people at this company: WANDF does NOT translate well. As clever as you think it might be, your logo REALLY needs to be at lease WandF, or - better - W&F in every instance and placement. From a marketing guy.)
