Ultimate Beethoven - The Essential Masterpieces

I have fallen in love with Beethoven all over again! It is easy to think 'oh yes, we all know he is fantastic' but to really listen to this music, some of it again and some for the first time, has given me great joy. I know the 5th & 6th Symphonies and the Violin Concerto very well - all three are already in my 'Top 10'- but I've never had a recording of the Piano Concertos or the other pieces in this collection although I was familiar with most; what I have been missing! I now have to put the Emperor Piano Concerto into my Top 10 as well - it is glorious - and then I discovered the sublime Violin Romance No 2......... I recommend this collection 100%. What fantastic value for money! Beethoven is the master.
