used 1 size for replacing an idler arm - worked perfect.

F250 worked even for pulling my pitman arm.

pretty good for a low priced set. the fork ends hold up good and do not bend. the outer ends will mushroom. the finish prior to the chrome is a bit rough. so far the chrome stays on. not a set for a frontend shop, but fine for less than steady use.

Quality product.

Works great for what I need. Not something I’ll need very often but they’re so inexpensive that if you think you’ll need it more than 2-3 times it’s worth picking up over taking the time to rent from the local part store.Took a bunch of whacks from a 3lb hammer without even showing any wear.

Replaced rear brakes on a Honda and this kit works great. A lot easier than using a pry bar with vise grips to turn the piston back in.

Saw a lot of reviewers and forums saying bubble flares were difficult. I think the reason is because they were using the flare kit for double flares. That kit has the dye that just sits on the tube as the clamp engages it. With this kit the dye screws directly into the clamp so there’s no way or much less of a chance for the dye to get off center. I made 15 bubble flares with it and they’ve all held good. The one issue: you must tighten the wing nuts really tight. Along with that, the steel brake line I used had the pvf coating which got into the be “teeth” of the two bars. So it had to be cleared with a wire brush sometimes. Other than that, it was easy and had great results.

Bought this to do ONE bubble flare on a new brake line we made for my son's F150, The 6' long line was a double flare at one end and a bubble flare on the other end. Could not find any bubble flare kits for "loan" by local parts stores. The ones offered for sale appeared to be cheap/flimsy. With Prime, this kit arrived the next day and cost less than the part store models. Works like a charm. I only needed it to make one bubble flare but never having done one before, I did a series of practice ones first. Every one a winner. We were using it on the nickle/copper 3/16" brake line we got on Amazon. Used for his truck and had zero leaks. Follow the directions, watch a couple of videos on YouTube and you'll do fine. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN! It is not necessary and my son had borrowed a double flare kit we could not use because it had been over tightened by its owner which bent and "tweaked" the tool so it was not usable at all. We were able to get a "loaner" kit at AutoZone for the double flares. This kit seems much better quality than you would expect for the price. I have no problem recommending it. I cannot speak to its durability as we only did about a dozen flares but I think if you treat it right, could last for years. P.S. This kit is metric (normal for bubble flare kits) we used it on 3/16" line which is 4.75mm. Worked GREAT!

La herramienta si sirve bien, sin problema pude cambiar las balatas de un 2017 Jetta. 👍🏼

Worked perfectly for my 10th generation Civic Si.Cons:- there ARE cheaper options out there, but hopefully as you are doing now, I consulted the reviews, and found these options had shortcomings, which thankfully it appears this set does not, as everything looks great!
