Really good light for EMS/EMT/Medical professionals
This is probably the best Medical/EMT light out there - Light quality, features, Color rendering, etc. are all great. This is probably as good as it gets in this class of medical penlights. Highly recommend it! The profile is slim, the low mode is just perfect for pupilary reaction check. It always starts on low so you dont blind your patient. The light itself feels well-made and very solid. It is a good value for the money and I already bought three of these as gifts to friends. Recommend it!

Decent Penlight. Get rechargeable AAA batteries.
I work full time as an EMT at a moderately busy 911 service. I have used this light every shift for the past two years and it has proven itself to be durable and useful. I mainly use it to check pupils, or as a backup light source. The lowest brightness setting is good for checking pupils, but the brighter settings are too bright to safely shine in a patients eyes. I use 1100mAh Nimh rechargeable AAA batteries and recharge every month or so without issue. My only complaint is that the pocket clip is weak and flimsy. Ive had to bend it back in place multiple times after getting caught on something.

Excellent penlight
Overall product works as advertised. Will usually use first 2 settings in day to day, but 3rd brightest setting is very nice when I do need it. An excellent product, which I've recommended to others.

Great light
What is great about this light is that it turns on at the lowest setting but gets brighter if needs be. This is perfect for checking in on nocturnal or other light sensitive animals in their enclosures.

Really good.
I like how this starts in a low lumen mode every time. When I want to save my night vision, this is great. The two brighter modes are great for around the house and in the yard. From factor is spot on and fits in hand like a pen. This makes clipping it in my pocket reasonable and not bulky. It’s also small and light enough to clip on my shirt collar in a pinch. The only down side so far is the button feels loose/cheap. It would also be cool to have a half press for momentary on. For 20 something bucks I recommend 100%.

Best penlight for medical on the market. I have not come across a better made penlight yet.

Excellent penlight/flashlight for EMTs and paramedics
I’ve been using penlights as an EMT or paramedic for almost two decades, and this is by far the most ideal product I’ve seen yet. I absolutely love it. This light seems well-built, durable, and the perfect size and weight. It fits easily into my shirt pen pockets but isn’t too small or lightweight. The LED comes on at a low brightness perfect for checking pupils but can then escalate to brighter levels ideal for looking in cabinets, around a dark room, or under items. It won’t replace a much brighter flashlight for scene lighting at night, but its ideal as a light to carry throughout my shift. The color accuracy of the LED light is hard to describe but noticeably better. It just seems to illuminate things more naturally and I was a little surprised when I noticed how my patient’s iris colors seemed to pop much more than I’ve experienced with other penlights in the past. Finally, the pupil size chart on the side is a stroke of genius and brings a feature I’ve appreciated on cheap penlights to a premium light build.

So nice I bought it twice
I originally bought the penlight for work and lost it on vacation. I tried a different high quality penlight with it's pros (lower lumens on low setting, strobe light option for emergencies) and cons (blue hue light, no pupil gauge). After using it for about a month I went back to this light buying it again. The only con this penlight has is a relatively bright low setting. You need to be mindful as a clinician not to point the light directly into patients eyes, and to not point it closely. The pros however are phenomenal. Better visibility and color of skin and wounds. Pupil gauge on the side. I even realized how much I appreciate the subtle grip texture. This is a solid 9/10 penlight for medical staff, and would be a 10/10 if the lowest lumens were just a bit lower.
