ASICSWomen's Gel-Kayano 30 Running Shoes

I have fibromyalgia that has progressed very much over the past few years. I also have flat feet, spurs in my feet, and edema in my legs.It is nearly impossible to find shoes at all. Most of the time I wear CROCS. However, I am a haunted house reviewer and have to wear sneakers and do a lot of walking when we visit all of the different attractions.Most sneakers are too cushy or too hard and cause me more pain. I tried most of the expensive shoes that others recommend and was thinking finding a pair that work for me is not happening.Then someone on my team told me about these shoes and she said they were cushy in the soul, but the shoe itself was more stable and does not feel squishy.In a last ditch effort, I ordered a pair and I am so grateful! Not only are they perfect, once I adjusted the shoe strings correctly, but the more I wear them, the better I feel!Wonderful, comfortable, support and feather light! Thank you, ASICS! I plan to stock up on them.

I have been having heel and arch pain and these seemed to help so far. I tried on so many shoes (around 20+ actually) before choosing these. I don’t think they will be great for speed work, obviously. But, they are good for right now until this pain goes away. For reference, I am a size 7 in adidas ultra boost. The 7.5 size in these fit me well and I have slightly wide feet. The toe box is roomy and comfortable while not allowing my foot to slip. I worried the heel would rub me since it was pushing on the back of my leg, but it didn’t bother me. I have only ran 2 miles so far in these, so I can’t vouch for how they feel long distance or how easily they break down.

So far I love these shoes! They are very comfortable. I feel like I'm walking on air. They are super cute too. I haven't walked a full mile yet, so I'll update later.

Wide size was perfect and the support is excellent!

I love ASICS and have worn them for many years . This one , however, while having the wonderful quality and support I rely on, was a fraction short in the toe. It’s still wearable and any larger size would be way too big, but occasionally I feel it bump my big toe and that annoys me.

Runner here. I rely on the Kayano for stability, especially ankle motion control. It's been a great shoe for years. This version is not that shoe! After a 3 mile run, the insides of my ankles hurt. This version completely removes the ankle motion control in the heel and relies completely on the new features of the sole. However, the new sole construction results in a very clunky ride. There's a clunk-clunk sound with every stride -- the first clunk when the heel strikes, the 2nd clunk when the rest of the sole lands. The fluidity of previous versions is completely lost, which negates any additional cushioning. I didn't feel it at all. After run #1, I took these shoes to my physical therapist and we compared my stride with this version and the Kayano 29s on the treadmill. The clunk-clunk of the 30s could be heard through his office. He confirmed the 29s better controlled the ankle mobility and provided a more fluid stride. I'm so sad my perfect running shoe no longer exists.

First off I love the color! It is more of a neon orange than a red. The toe room is good and I like the way they fit. I did buy a half size larger, I've heard you should make sure you feet still feel good at the end of the day or long walk, mine do! I would buy them again.

Unfortunately the women’s size in this color does not come in wide. The side of my foot next to my big toe is red and achy after a day of barely walking because the design (A) on the inside of the shoe is restrictive and the hard shell around toe comes down the side of big toe… between the two of those things, there is no room for my foot to spread. Because of the cost and inability to return after wearing these, I will have to use a shoe stretcher to make this work. Otherwise, shoe is supportive and the bottom of my foot is comfortable

Normalmente me cuesta trabajo encontrar tenis wide, batallo muchísimo en encontrar algo bueno, que además tenga buena estabilidad, para asfalto y todo terreno, además el diseño es hermoso y los materiales se ven de excelente calidad, siento una comodidad que no había sentido en otro calzado y el espacio entre mis dedos es suficiente, ajustan bien. Simplemente me encantaron. Quiero comprarme otros ya en otro color, para ir cambiando.

Great walking shoe! Lots of cushioning in the heel and decent arch support. Would recommend.

They are extremely comfortable, I am a sz7 and they fit perfectly with a little extra room, these runners help my knee problem as well, I would recommend them .
