Almo is an Italian brand. Italians have a lot of problems but at lunch time they do not envy anyone. The vast majority of the money that Almo makes goes back to help animals. I don't want to worry about pet food recalls that some obscure companies have. My cat is everything to me. You have to find a flavor that your cat likes. Almo Nature is certainly one of the best options in terms of quality and reliability.

Had to review this new Almo flavor as my carnivore loving cat is so picky.I was very happy with a variety pack of Almo on Subscribe & Save.Then it was unavail & had to scurry to find a replacement.Heaven help me if she doesn't have her morning meats.The variety pack comes with 2 chicken breast varieties, one with pumpkin.And 2 light tuna, one with cheese. The cheese one has virtually no liquid.I have to save broth from the plain chicken to get her to touch the tuna/cheese.She loves the chicken/pumpkin so was going to get that but, it was double in price.That's when the tuna/pumpkin popped up so gave it a shot.I expected it to be a broth with pumpkin bits like the chicken.It's light tuna with more a pumpkin puree that makes a thick gravy.Completely cat approved even out of the fridge.Just have to break up the whole chunks into bite sized bits.It's amazing how quickly a feral cat will adapt to domestic life.Or should I say, how quickly a cat will make her owner adapt to her preferences.Ahhh, cat life.Doesn't get any better.

Cats love this food. I feed a variety of wet food, at my vet's instruction, and am happy to have this in the rotation.

I have purchased Almo Nature different cat foods for a grand total of 43 TIMES because I love my fur children! Lots of money, however, I am done! Take advantage of someone else! Yes, my 3 furbabies absolutely love it, so a 5 star for that, but I am not rich! However, and it's a big however, the price has jumped considerably, and the food consistently weighs 2 oz less than all other comparable cat food brands that I purchase. I estimated that for the price of this food, I can literally purchase a prime rib roast for my husband and I, and a freaking whole salmon fillet that will fill tons of those tiny cans for way less than the price of this minute amount of cat food! There should be a cap on what companies can charge for this crap! Sorry, that's my very honest opinion, and take it for what it's worth.Update: the last time I ordered this in December it was $38. Was thinking of possibly treating my boys. Now it is almost $50? This is insane for what…cat food?? And the cans are not even full. Nowadays people are struggling. Let’s get real! My 2 boys are having to lower their standards as I refuse to pay this horrific price. I will buy them a ribeye and myself one too and save a ton.

The smell is good. The pumpkin helps keep her regular. The price rivals tuna for humans but it is keeping my 14 year old cat happy and healthy so much cheaper than a vet visit. I can add medication to it and she still eats it which is saying a lot for a usually finacky eater.THE FORMULATION MUST HAVE CHANGED BECSUSE MY CAT WOULD NOT EVEN TRY THE LAST PORCHASE AFTER SMELLING IT. I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WOULD ADVISE AGAINST TRYING THIS ANYMORE. I DO NOT KNOW IF THE SAME IS TRUE OF OTHER FLAVORS.
