Look Good / Work Great
These look far superior to an unadorned hole in in a 4x4 post with the cable running through it. They add a polished look. I wish I had taken a photo of the tests without them to show the difference. I couldn't find any bit that fit, but they include one that works perfectly! Unfortunately, the one they provide is not of high quality and dulls quickly (after a 20-30 holes, it becomes much more difficult to push through). If a standard imperial bit is used, they can be hammered in, but that will make it challenging to paint around it in the future.

Definitely glad I added this to my project. Gives a nice touch. The product itself seems worth of 5 starts... The out of the box (bag) quality exceeded expectations. Only time will tell if they hold up to the weather.

Work Great, Clean Look - crappy included bit
These sleeves provided a really clean look for installing steel cable railings in wood posts. I was able to use them in a post with the holes at an angle as well. The included drill bit is not great. I ended up using a regular 5/16 bit, but could probably have used something slightly smaller (9/32).

So easy to install and really makes the lines look great. Also easy to forget to add it during the process so pay attention!

Excellent product for deck railing. I have purchased and used this in the past. Kudos to the company: my recent purchase of this had to be returned due to customer change of mind. Company refunded my money and allowed me to return item.

A suggestion
Product is good. The drill bit provided is a little big so the sleeves don’t fit tight. Drill just a little with their bit, then go one size smaller to drill all the way through. Also, insert the sleeves when you run the wire through each post, as there is very little clearance.
