Wasted material to close
I had high hopes for this one, but I am totally disappointed. You have to fold over one of the long sides of the bag twice to close it up, which takes about at least 2 inches from the width of the bag away. And voila! We just now ruined the space by being not smart enough to create a more effective closure and therefore the iPhones that have an Otterbox Defender Case on them won’t fit.Have to send back. What a shame.

Be Prepared!
In 1859, a solar flare erupted from the sun, and fried every electronic device in the country. Fortunately, in 1859, that amounted to the telegraph lines and systems. Things are very different today. There are devices that can create an Electro Magnetic Pulse, or EMP that can effectively destroy all electronics exposed...cars, computers, microwaves, phones...anything electronic ... and it isn't 1859 anymore. Whether it is a natural or man-made pulse, exposed electronics will be permanently disabled.A Faraday box, bag or cage prevents transmission of the electromagnetic waves to the contents of the box, bag, or cage. This bag will protect anything inside from a pulse. Simply said, if there is never a need for this, I still consider it a good investment. While I sincerely hope that it is never needed, I have placed a smartphone that I retired, and small radio inside the bag. I hope it is never needed, but I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.The construction seems solid. It is comfortable in the hand and inoffensive in its appearance. I have no way to test it which is a little bit funny...how do you know if it works? I wonder how you would exercise a guarantee if there was a solar flare or EMP and it didn't work? As the Oracle said in The Matrix, "that is really gonna bake your noodle".(I did test as best I could with limited means available. Here is how I tested: I took a smartphone, called it with another phone, and it rang. Then, I placed the same smartphone in the Faraday bag, and called it, and it did not respond to the call, as if there was no call or connection. This makes me comfortable that it is working as a signal blocker.)The only thing that I "wish" for this bag is that the bag was larger, and able to accommodate a greater capacity. I'd like to find one of these products that could house a notebook or laptop. The product seems a quality build, and while I hope I never need it, I'm sure glad that I have it. It was delivered quickly, and on-time. There were no packing issues. I'm very pleased overall.

It works, but it's small
It's a simple enough pouch. You slide your phone or any item you you want isolated from radio in it. You must roll the top of the bag up and Velcro it shut. When I put my S9+ in the bag and closed it up, my smart watch immediately notified me it was no longer connected to my phone. So far, so good. I them made a test call and I rolled to voicemail quickly, an indicator that the cell router could not find my phone. It worked.I live in an area with 3 bars of LTE service. I don't know if the results would be different close to a stronger tower or different system. I don't have the equipment to measure if there is any radio emissions escaping the bag.My biggest concern is that my S9+, with a case that resembles a checkbook with a front and back, barely fit. I was expecting something about the size of a bank bag or pencil bag. I'm not sure how future, larger phones are going to fare.

Small Bag but Gets the Job Done
This is a fairly small bag, and with phones getting larger and larger that is not a good thing. I have a Note 10 with a large case and I could just barely get the phone to fit in the bag. The important thing though is that it did in fact fit.The bag uses an unorthodox closing method. You need to roll the flag over until you can attach the Velcro. This was probably done to ensure that there is full coverage and no way for transmissions to escape, but it is a poor design and leaves it up to user error with the potential for gaps or for the Velcro to come undone. There are also a couple of see through pouches on one side. Perhaps for a label or something similar? I didn't have a use for them, but someone may.Despite the design flaws the bag does work with cell phone signals. Tried calling the phone and setting up automatic texts from the phone in the bag and all tests were successful. So if you can get your phone or other device to fit in the bag it should work for you.
