Can I use this paint on time in my shower?

Majic RePurpose is solid acrylic enamel that offers excellent adhesion to a host of surfaces, including properly prepared ceramic tile, plastic shower & tub surrounds, melamine and other difficult substrates...having said that, RePurpose is NOT recommended for surfaces subject to immersion, submersion or "wet" areas (such as shower stalls, etc.). Frequent exposure to harsh chemicals (e.g. lime & rust-stain removers, grout cleaners, etc.) and strong, or abrasive, "scrubs" may soften, or damage the film.

what majic paint would u recommend for bathroom sinks? could this work with top sealer coat? thank u

Magic RePurpose is a premium grade acrylic satin enamel, that exhibits exceptional adhesion to a variety of surfaces, and substrates, and provides excellent protection and durability to those surfaces painted with RePurpose. Unfortunately, Diamond Hard RePurpose is not designed for surfaces subject to immersion, or submersion, areas/surfaces designated as "wet" areas. I hope this info is helpful - again, thank you.

I need to paint the back splash of my kitchen i want to know how many feet does this cover and if is good for ceramic

Majic RePurpose is a premium quality acrylic satin finish that demonstrates exceptional adhesion and durability to a variety of surfaces and exposures. Painting ceramic tile require only that the surface be clean and dry. Wash surface with a phosphate-free detergent to remove dust, dirt, grease and oils and allow to dry - neutralize with a clean water rinse. Once dry, wipe surface with a 50/50 white vinegar and water mix to remove any soap, or detergent, residue. Repair any broken tiles, and replaced cracked, or crumbling grout. Any mildew should be treated with a bleach and water solution, then rinsed with clean water and allowed to dry.. Apply RePurpose in thin coats by brush, roll or spray, and allow 4-8 to dry between coats.

Have old "euro" cabinets: white melamine front, wood w/ slight grain (real?) elsewhere. Can I use over all to get uniform color?

Diamond Hard RePurpose Satin Enamel is a premium quality, water-borne acrylic coating that demonstrates exceptional adhesion, and durability, to a variety of substrates. RuPurpose is a great choice for melamine cabinet fronts, and also for your cabinet sides (veneer, laminate, finished wood, etc.). The key, of course, is surface preparation - the surface must be clean, dry and free of all dust, dirt, grease, oil, wax & polishes, and other surface contaminants that may inhibit the adhesion and performance of Repurpose. Although not absolutely necessary for adhesion, after cleaning surface I always recommend a slight "scuff-sanding" of melamine, or plastic laminate, with a very fine paper (220 - 350 grit) to create a "profile" for a greater, and faster, mechanical bond to these surfaces. RePurpose dries very quickly, and reaches maximum hardness & adhesion in approximately 7-10 days - during this time, handle painted items gently, and do not subject to cleaning surface for 2 weeks after application. Care & Maintenance: Use only a soft rag or sponge & mild, household detergent for cleaning surfaces painted with RePurpose (recommended Dirtex Powder, Soilax Powder, or other low-sudsing, phosphate-free detergents). Do NOT use abrasive cleanser (Ajax, Comet, Soft Scrub, etc.) as they may damage the acrylic film. Do NOT clean painted surface with "spray-type" cleaners, such as Fantastik, Formula 409. Dirtex Spray, etc.) as these products may contain solvents that soften, or remove, acrylic coatings. There is no need to polish or wax a RePurpose finish as continued applications may soften the finish.
