Google Pixel Tablet Case - Protective Case for Multi-Angle Viewing - Porcelain

I didn't want to mess around with another case that I would be replacing after a year or two. This one does the job. Sturdy, well-made, fits the dock, and the stand works great. It's expensive and a little heavy, but it gives me piece of mind when traveling.

This case is undeniably expensive. For what is essentially a protective cover and a clever stand, it feels like Google is charging a premium for the seamless integration and strong magnets. I honestly looked for alternatives, hoping to save some money, but nothing else on the market offers this level of design and functional stability. If you want the absolute best case that feels like a natural extension of the Pixel Tablet, this is it. It’s a reluctant five-star review because while it is the best experience available, you just have to accept that you're paying a lot for that perfection. If you own the tablet, you should probably just bite the bullet and get this one.

I was skeptical of paying the expensive price for the official Google case, but honestly I really love it. I really wanted something that worked well with the dock, but still offered protection when taking the tablet around the house as well as being able to prop it up at different angles for watching videos. This case handles that perfectly and also feels nice to the touch. Compared to the other third party options I could find, they seem to either have an opening or flap on the back of the case to work with the dock which is a bit annoying. Or in case of the Spigen case, didn't have an adjustable stand. I originally wanted a folio style case too, but the button layout of the Pixel Tablet and the cover flap blocking the dock made me decide to just go cover less. I think if I travel with the tablet a cheap $20 folio case will be my swappable option but for home use, the official case is excellent.

I ordered two other cases before this one. I was looking for a sleek, protective, and durable case that could be used to prop up my tablet vertically and horizontally. I knew this one addressed all those needs, but felt that the price was unreasonable. Long story short, the other ones I got simply didn't cut it, they discolored, quickly deteriorated, broke, and didn't really serve the purpose. I begrudgingly purchased this one and have been using it for many months now. I hate to say it, but it is totally worth the high price. It's literally exactly what I needed, and it looks brand new even though I use it a lot.

The ring design is minimal, easy to pull out and store and doesn't get in the way of charging when placed back in the dock. It also allows the tablet to be propped up in different positions, so long as it's in landscape view. Deduct one star since it doesn't seem to be the best way to hold up the tablet in portrait mode.

The tablet works very well - I need to learn more of what it does but so far I like it a lot and recommend it - screen size is really nice and colors are perfect! Easy to use and understand.

I was a bit reluctant to purchase this based on the high price but having done so and spent some time using the cover / stand I can say it's a great design and glad I spent the money on the propper case.
