Honestly shocking quality and size 👎🏻
This is an honest review, if you can't wait until the end here's the short version: it's made of around 85% really cheap plastic, the electrics are awful, the factory built parts aren't fitted with care, everything has so much play so it shakes and wobbles like a pensioner and there is no way you're getting anyone 5 years old upward in it.I bought this for my sons 5th birthday as his older brother has a 4x4 (another brand). I've just unboxed it to build the night before his birthday and my first thought is I couldn't believe how small it is. I would honestly say this was made for a 3 year old (4 at a massive squeeze) and not up to 7 years as described. After unboxing and cutting off all the cable ties some cretin in the factory tightened as much as they could, I could feel and see how bad quality ALL the parts are.The plastics (around 85/90% of the 4x4) are very cheap and feel like they'll snap early doors, the motor is cheap generic Chinese-made dirt and the assembly manual is grim. Thankfully it's easy to build without the manual, although this is where the intricate problems can be seen. Every part has so much play even the stationary parts rattle, they used the wrong size of washers to fix nuts down which has pushed the plastic out of shape at the rear axle, the threads have been cut with an old worn down die so you are literally cutting new threads with the nuts while fitting and there are too many moving parts which are plastic on metal which will cause crazy wear and tear early-on.Moving onto the top of the 4x4 we are talking around 20cm leg extension, this is 2/3 of a school ruler, meaning the kids can wipe their tears away with their knee caps. My son is 5 and average height, I can tell he'll need a knee either side of the steering wheel to fit in it. The plastics I've covered, aside from the main body - the other parts are comparable in quality to the plastics of a £8.99 RC car from B&M.Rear view mirror isn't a mirror at all, it's a foil sticker that you can't actually see a reflection on. There's much more but it's 01:05am.Do not buy unless your child still needs a stool to sit on the toilet because you will be disappointed even at this price.
