small, but good
I used this compass to recess into a walking stick I made for a friend. Picked a small one for that purpose. I checked it over in several places / situations. Dont have that many friends that I can afford to lose them! Worked great.

Disappointed
Doesn't point to magnetic north. Checked against several other trusted compasses.

Fits My Walking Stick
Bought a walking stick that had a compass built in handle. Didn’t work. Ordered this 14mm one as a replacement. Replaced it and it works great! Points to magnetic North every time. Very pleased.

This compass is so small that it is not easy to read... description is misleading!

Added this to the top of my hiking stick. It's a compact addition and works well.

Came with bubble
Came with air bubble in liquid compass. Therefore needle not smooth and hard to get even reasonably accurate.
