(Image as seen at this review date)The manufacturer in China makes three variants of this cover. I know because I ordered two variants and received the exact same box for both. One variant is the all body Black Silicone, second variant is what you see for Black TPU. The third variant is merged Black Silicone and Black TPU which is not present here but the first image for Black Silicone show is actually of the third variant which is wrong. You can notice a second layer at the frontal image at the ally's edges. Unfortunately it's this image used in every such listings globally on amazon.When I purchased from this listing, there was no Black TPU and I bought that one from another listing.Silicone is all body nice rubbery. But the rear and side grip is expectedly too soft. Also the material is obviously very thin around the buttons as seen in picture and could be tear-prone on stretch when fitting or unfitting it. The TPU one is hard plastic but has very comfortable sturdy grips, and a stand but it's half body and the white Ally body will gather smudge and yellowy on sunlight eventually.You can buy both and the ally looks best when both are stacked but you would have to cut some bits from the TPU variant to fit perfectly and it would look bit ugy. If you find the Silicone+TPU variant go for that instead since it won't need any cutting.

Got a wrong product delivered first time around, ordered it again and got the right product the second time. Although the fitting isn't perfect and the price is on the higher side but it's a good enough option for now.

Fits perfectly, does it job as advertised.

Based on other reviews, i did not have very high hopes from this case.However I was proven wrong. The case fits great, has the right cutouts. But most important, the material used is great. It has a nice grip, does not add too much weight and matches up very well with the ally.The kickstand feels a bit flimsy (and the kickstand material is a bit of a let down) but i think that too will do the job.This is likely the best case for anything I have ordered in a while ..and at a great price too.Do note that this review is for the white variant with the kickstand. Can’t say how the other variants are

For the price and what I needed it for, it gets the job done. Nice feel, there are no good hard protectors for the Rog Ally as of yet. This is probably the best soft protection for the Rog Ally at this time. My favorite feature is that there is a raised edge around the joysticks. This keeps from grinding the joystick on the edges and causing damage.
