This has to be the best comms speaker I have owned. Its frequency response is optimized for the voice spectrum, resulting in a higher audio clarity level. It is efficient and can be directly driven by a radio's external speaker output at a higher level than its internal one. The only negative (and it is really not a negative) is that it is large, but the large size results in a robust voice sound without the tinniness of typical smaller speakers.

Sound is great and hookup too

Went right into use on a 40 watt GMRS radio, very good sound as I’m hard of hearing and it punches through. I recommend.

I really had hoped this would help me hear during our trips out of state hear the Jeeps I was traveling with. However with the top back you couldn't hear anything better.

I mounted this speaker in my mobile, out of all the speakers that I own I must say this SP-100 Is the best! Definitely money well spent. I would definitely buy again.

This is an awesome speaker. It has a bit of weight to it and is well suited for the application that I need. It’s water proof to boot.

I ordered this to replace my old midland external speaker. But this one is almost double the depth. Do to mount it in the same spot it sticks way out. Unfortunately the model I had was discontinued and replaced by this one. I’m going to have to look at other brands.

Very nice and durable. Its pretty large its also not very loud. Idk if its how i have it wierd but i wish it was louder for the money.
