Snap on quality steel pruners
The media could not be loaded. My wife has been into indoor and outdoor gardening for a few years now and has always wanted a good quality pair of pruners because the cheap ones are a pain to use. I did some research and was stuck between these and the Felco 11 since she has medium sized hands. I ended up getting both once I discovered that bahco is owned by snap on and these pruners are seriously comparable to snap-on pliers. The only drawback I can see in these is that the plastic handles don't feel as high quality as I'd expected and the lock button is difficult to use with one hand, unlike the Felco's which are very easy to flick on and off. Overall I'm happy with these pruners and I'm hoping they'll loosen up a bit with regular use.

Extremely sharp, fits big hands comfortably, and cuts through thick branches with ease!
I have VERY large hands and these fit me perfectly! They cut through thick branches quite easily with little pressure on my hands. My wife has smaller hands and she can also use it, but not as comfortably as me. They have stayed sharp over the past few months and were worth the premium price. Yes I could have bought 6 cheap ones for the price of this one, but the Bahco has saved me time and kept me safe by cutting cleanly and due to the sharpness it keeps the entire process of cutting stable. Overall, this is my first Bahco product and I look forward to being a long time customer.***4/7/2014 UPDATE***We have used these extensively and they have held up and work as good as they did the first day we purchased them! The secret is to be sure to lubricate them prior to use and to keep them clean. If you do this they will not only stay clean by resisting the sticky sap and debris, but will also stay sharp. I can see these lasting for many more years to come! So far they are well worth the price!***8/7/2014 UPDATE***Well, I left these things out for a few minutes while working in the garden the other day and they were stolen. So I no longer own these and I hope someday I can afford to get another set, as they were awesome! I am not having to settle for some Fiskars which are nowhere near as good as these were. It really breaks my heart knowing they are gone, for good. :( So enjoy it while you have it folks as you don't know how good they are until they are gone! :(

Great professional bypass pruner
As a professional horticulturist I prune a lot. These ease the repetitive motion strain on my wrist. Takes a little to become accustomed too the rotation on the grip. I will never go back to a regular grip pruner. I like that there are different grip sizes too.

Excellent pruner
Took a long time for me to decide on this pruner. Being nearly retired and developing an interest in gardening (the wife was right, it is relaxing). I needed something better than the bargain pruners I have always had. My brother, having been a vineyard foreman in his past life suggested several brands that he had used and I researched it to death as I do. These are my choice and I think I nailed it. They are made for big hands and I got'em. They are sturdy, sharp and comfortable to use while not being the most expensive of the lot.Check them out you won't be disappointed.

Wow, and that's compared to Felco, and Stihl !
I still love my Felco, made by Swiss, pruner. It's a quick and easy pruner and I had it for years. Tried the expensive Stihl, made in Japan pruners, seemed ordinary but okay. This PX-L13 Bahco is the best. It is easier to use for cutting dried stubs and far easier for pruning live branches. The angle and the handle length are a plus. I have medium hands, but it would be a plus for small or large, because it give the options of hand placement, or two hand cuttin Truly the Bahco slices easier and the metal is good, for long lasting sharpness. I sharpen mine using a flat stone, 1000 grit medium, Japanese made. ONLY sharpen the beveled side, NOT the flat side. Oil is a plus. My pruning is a dozen palm trees, and the shrubbery, and Crepe Myrtle. Corona and Fiskers are not even a consideration. We are talking quality of metal and hardness, that's why Corona and Fiskers are cheaper in many ways. Bahco "appears" to be French made.

Forget Felco, these are by far the best professional secateurs available.
Sick and tired of Felco's strong hold on the professional secateur market, and tired of the boast that without Felco, you're not really a professional gardener anyway (despite 20 years at this game), I went against the tide and ordered these. Not as flashy to look at, not as expensive, yet highly recommended by professionals (after an intensive web hunt) and by far the most comfortable pair of secateurs I have ever used due to the slight turn in the body of the design. Further it is practically impossible for the sturdy spring to ping off and as difficult for the closing mechanism to be pushed on by mistake. Learn Felco. Cutting diameter is fabulous and blade terrifyingly sharp. An absolute joy. Worth considering, if you are a lass, or have 'average' sized hands, opt for the small size. I chose large, as I always have with other brands - and they are a bit big for me to be honest. (I am an average 5'6" female so would not class my hands as especially small). I didn't return, as I simply don't want to be separated from them. I ordered a pair of Bacho loppers after trying these.5* product, if a slightly late delivery - though to be fair, they did get delivered on a Sunday which impressed me.

light, handy, reliable...I' m a proffesional gardener and landscaper and can tell you since I bought this secateurs they always come with me. Perfect accurate cuts for prunning , you'll notice how confortable they are from the first cut, the ergo design adjust perfectly to the hand, and also a powerful cut compared to other two hand prunning tools. Highly recomended..

comfortable ,durable , cost efficient
this pruner is just as effective as any of the high end competition , the blade stays sharp and makes clean cuts well when used correctly. not sure what people were cutting to damage blade but it seems to be incredibly durable (#3) have tried on many different branches of both live and dead wood . and the blade is as sharp as when recieved

Eindeutige Kaufempfehlung!
