Great filter. Does the job. We sometimes use two to double up for better capture. Little to no grounds get through when we use two. This is the best tasting way to make coffee in my opinion. They’re recyclable so cleaning up is a breeze. We actually put the filters and coffee in one of our compost. Highly recommend.

I love love love these coffee filters. Before these I was using the ones that fill up the entire percolator however, these just go to the bottom. They still keep the coffee grounds from getting in the coffee, but you don’t have to use as much coffee because there’s not as much holding it back from the water. So I use about 20% less coffee now with these. Plus, these are cheaper than the other ones if you like percolator coffee, which, in my opinion is the best, these filters are awesome.

I bought these because I have a Frieling 23 oz French press and I have really high cholesterol, the problem with using a french press is every single one that you can buy doesn’t use a paper filter. French presses use wire mesh screens. A paper filter for coffee is the only way to filter out the cafestol that is produced when brewing coffee, so I love my French press and wasn’t going to give it up so I had to figure out a way to add a paper filter to my French press. At first I was just taking my husbands Mr coffee paper filters and cutting them around in a circle and punching a hole in the center, this was a ridiculous waste of my time and very frustrating, so I measured the size of the paper filters after I cut them and that came to exactly 5 and a half inches. So I went on Amazon and searched round paper coffee filters 5 and 1/2 inches. And here we are!!! I love these! They fit perfectly in my Frieling French press and they are un bleached extra great! I will say it was a learning curve on how to actually use these in my French press, like what order to put the paper filter in the contraption. My press came with two fine mesh screens to be used together, so I just remove one of the mesh screens and save away for later , then assemble as you see in my photos. It’s very important that you do this the way I am showing or your French press won’t plunge properly or worse case scenario you end up with coffee and grounds blowing up all over everything, I know believe me! Anyway I’m happy now and my mornings are no longer fraught with worrying about my cholesterol! My coffee tastes great but I will say for you french press users you may want to steep your coffee a minute or two longer than usual before plunging it. I use a dark roast and also grind my beans on more of a medium grind because of the paper filter. This is truly a lifesaver! No joke! We don’t have to give up our french press just because our cholesterol is deadly just use these paper filters and enjoy life again!

Works as described. At times they feel a tad too to thick- but nonetheless they work well, they’re well made and they help catch the powdery grounds from going into my coffee. I’ve only had 4-5 grounds in each pot so I’m happy.

They work great with a new coffee maker, very few grounds in the bottom of the pot. I love the idea of no plastic in my coffee pot.

These filters for the bottom of the coffee percolator basket fit perfectly. Be sure to measure your basket because they have different sizes. Their performance resulted in a smooth cup of coffee, and much easier clean-up. I was glad to find these as our local stores don't carry them.

These disc filters work great with my stainless steel percolator! They definitely stopped the coffee grounds from filtering through into the coffee. The whole size is a little bit tight, but it does slide down into the basket. I think it makes the coffee taste really good very easy to use.

Works perfectly. Makes a great cup of perc''d coffee.
