Bulletpoint Metal 2-Hole AMPS Base Mount with 20mm (0.787 inches) Mounting Ball

These are very well made and mount easily on Bulletpoint's Rubigrid mounting base. This mounting system works very well in a 2nd generation Toyota Tacoma. The balls on the mounts are machine turned out of hard polymer, rather than the molded rubber balls on Ram mounts. The Ram balls have a tendency to deform over time and in extreme heat. I haven't seen any deformation of these Bulletpoint balls, even after a year's use. One caveat is to make sure that you are ordering the correct diameter balls. Depending on what you want to mount, there are several different diameters and it makes a big difference.

The size is great, and it does have value for money and they are very functional for what i have mounted, i was worried about the plastic that has the screw holes breaking the ball off but after a bit of high speed off roading the held up, ive got an iPhone pro max and it didn’t break, iam a bit concerned though about the plastic and how its mounted if its some kind of glue iam fearing that it will melt in the summer since me have temperatures upto 140 here
