**Q: What is the clearance (thickness) when the piece is in its "flat" position?  I'm surprised they don't specify this...**
A: It clearly states 0.32" thick when collapsed in the specifications. Just read the item description.

**Q: hello, is it possible to remove them from the glasss after you place them without having the glass damaged?**
A: Yes it is just a strong tape that holds them in place. use a razor blade to lift the edge up. use rubbing alcohol  to clean any leftover residue.

A: That's what the information on the package says  but I haven't tried to remove it. It does work as advertised. It is just adhesive tape on the glass so I assume it would come off without any damage to the glass.

A: No. They are hard to remove and even then you have to get the glue off with gasoline or something similar.
