SKIF Adventure II SW Knife - Style 424 (Black/Stainless Steel)

I purchased this knife as part of a pair. True to form, this knife was a mirror copy of the other knife only with a different blade. Everything on the knifes design was high-end. Good weight, good shape, good quality. Only this knife, like its 'brother' had issues with opening. Since this knife didn't have a flipper tag, and had to be opened by manual use, it had its issues. Once I managed to get it open, it felt comfortable and useable. Closing it, was another issue. When it closed, and locked close, it took a great deal of effort to re-open it. After applying an oil covering, loosening the swivel screw, and moving it back and forth, the problem didn't resolve itself. It felt like an industrial magnet was holding it against its will. I will continue to see if I can work this knife and get it to open without using a pry-bar or wrench. Other than this issue, with me, the knife has plenty of potential for EDC or casual use.
