the iSteady V2S gimbal stabilizer by hohem is a quality 3 axis gimbal that comes with lots of features, solid tripod, charging cable, storage pouch and a very detailed user manual. as a first time gimbal user i can definitely say that with the right info you can get started very quickly on top of the user manual there is a lot videos that you can watch and learn how to use the gimbal in no time. the app is also easy to use and not too complicated, holding the iSteady V2S feels good and all the buttons are in easy reach and feels good to the touch. one of my favorite features is the auto tracking using the tripod and the panoramic capture, i am very impressed with this gimbal performance and getting smooth and stable captures, very recommended product.

This one is promising. It does exactly as they said. Very nice lighting, very stable.BUTI was Only able to use it 2 times before the circle button thing snapped off and fell (and i couldn’t find it) . 🥲

Der Hohem iSteady V2S ist mein zweiter Gimbal, und ich habe festgestellt, dass er perfekt zu meinen Anforderungen passt. Ich bin nicht der typische Vlogger, aber ich liebe es, hochwertige und stabile Videos meiner Familie aufzunehmen. Außerdem habe ich eine Vorliebe für bewegte Zeitrafferaufnahmen.Was mir besonders am iSteady V2S gefällt, ist seine Kompaktheit. Er lässt sich problemlos zusammenklappen und findet in praktisch jeder Tasche Platz. Ein weiches Täschchen für den Transport ist im Lieferumfang enthalten, was meiner Meinung nach völlig ausreicht. Ein sperriges Hardcase wäre unnötig gewesen. Aufgrund seiner Bauweise schützt sich der iSteady V2S im zusammengeklappten Zustand sehr gut selbst.Die Bedienung des Gimbals ist kinderleicht. Die 3 Achsen können vor und nach dem Gebrauch durch einfaches Drehen verriegelt und entriegelt werden. Zusätzlich gibt es eine Trageschlaufe, die man befestigen kann.Ich habe den Gimbal mit meinem Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra getestet, das ein ziemlich großes Smartphone ist. Anfangs hatte ich Bedenken, ob das reibungslos funktionieren würde. Aber nachdem ich das S22 eingespannt und darauf geachtet hatte, es möglichst mittig zu platzieren, um zu verhindern, dass der Gimbal überlastet wird, habe ich den Power-Button gedrückt. Es war wie Zauberei – das Smartphone wurde stabilisiert, und alle Bewegungen wurden ausgeglichen. Ein wirklich cooles Erlebnis!Die "Hohem Pro" App ist zwar sehr umfangreich und bietet viele Möglichkeiten, aber für normales Tracking ist sie überhaupt nicht notwendig. Ich bin ein großer Fan der Auto-Verfolgungsfunktion, bei der man den Gimbal mit dem mitgelieferten Mini-Stativ positionieren und sich selbst verfolgen lassen kann. Das Beeindruckende ist, dass hierfür keine App oder sogar keine Bluetooth-Verbindung benötigt wird. Der iSteady V2S verfügt über seine eigene Kamera mit automatischer Verfolgung. Ich hätte nie erwartet, dass dies so gut funktioniert, aber es tut es.Der Gimbal erkennt Handgesten sofort und reagiert entsprechend. Mit Handgesten kann man die Verfolgung starten/stoppen oder die Ausrichtung des Smartphones ändern. Die Erkennung funktioniert einwandfrei und sehr schnell. Es ist erstaunlich, wie gut die Handgesten funktionieren.Eine großartige Funktion ist auch die Möglichkeit, bewegte Zeitrafferaufnahmen aufzunehmen, bei denen Zeit und Intervall individuell eingestellt werden können. Diese und viele weitere Funktionen werden durch die App ermöglicht. Der Joystick zum Bewegen des Smartphones sowie die Funktionstasten reagieren einwandfrei. Der Akkustand wird direkt über den Tasten angezeigt, und der Akku hat mich bisher angenehm überrascht.Für alle, die einen kompakten Gimbal für unterwegs suchen, ist der iSteady V2S eine hervorragende Wahl. Besonders beeindruckend ist, dass der Gimbal vollständig eigenständig (ohne App) verwendet werden kann und dennoch Funktionen wie die Autoverfolgung bietet, dank der eingebauten Kamera. Dieses Gerät hat mich sowohl in Bezug auf die Benutzerfreundlichkeit als auch auf die Verarbeitungsqualität zu 100% überzeugt.Für diejenigen die sich gerade Gedanken machen ob sie beim iSteady V2 oder dem neuen iSteady V2S zuschlagen sollen. In wirklichkeit sind es FAST die selben Gimbals, der V2S ist halt die verbesserte Version mit besserer Anti-Shake und mehr Akku und er kann etwas schwerere Smartphones verwenden. Der Preis ist nicht sonderlich viel um und beide Modelle sind spitze, ist wirklich eine Frage ob man unbedingt das neueste Modell benötigt, bei dem minimalen Preisunterschied ist es aber fast klar welchen man wählen wird.

I really love this gimbal stabilizer for my iPhone. It took a little time to get used to it like opening it up and working with the mechanics. But, once I got it working, I was off to the races.The Gimbal comes with detachable feet that allows you to stand the device on a table surface. It has a long charging cord which is very ideal given the ability it allows to work with the system and have it plugged in at the same time you are using it.I have not had a chance to use every feature yet, however, outlined below are some pretty neat features I've discovered.The on/off switch is right next to the input where you charge the device. Once you turn it on, be careful because the device can easily tip and fall off your desk/table if it is sitting too close. But, this has more to do with knowing how to avoid working too close to the edge of your work surface.If you have your smartphone still attached to the device once you turn it off, it will flop over and no longer sit upright. Of course, it does not keep moving but you need to make sure that you don't have your device sitting near the edge of a table because it could fall to the floor. When you turn the device back on, your smartphone will jump back up into position.Make sure you have your smartphone centered in the Gimbal or other wise it may sit lopsided on the stand. Just think about the kids and the teeter totter. It must be level.The larger black button on the device is what allows you to rotate the device. All you have to do is press and hold the button (from either the left or right side), and your device will rotate in your direction of choice. Once the gimbal rotates as far as it will go it will stop (which is not quite 360), you can then, switch and go in the opposite direction. All you need to do is press and hold the button from other side.However, if you want your iPhone to swivel up and down, simply hold the button from the top or bottom and it will rotate up or down and this will allow you to frame yourself in your camera better. Once the device goes as far as it can, it will stop. You have to play with it to see how you want frame yourself or others in the view.There is a button located at the top of the device that turns red. If you don't see it, you will need to press and hold the button to turn it on. Now, you can position your body in front of the device and hold two thumbs up to turn your smartphone in landscape mode or turn your two thumbs pointing to the right and it will rotate your smartphone to portrait. Just keep in mind that the device must see your hands because that is how it is taking directions from you.You can also download an app to your smartphone which is something I have not yet done yet.
