VOUNOT Folding Loading Ramps 180cm, Heavy Duty Pair 400kg Capacity, Non-Slip Surface, Portable Foldable Design for Motorcycle, Mobility Scooters, Lawn Mower, Quad, and ATV

Pleased with these ramps which I got after returning the shorter, non-foldable, version (which proved too short, see my review of that). Assembled and used for the first time today, so time will tell on durability. Some points to note: 1. Assembly a bit fiddly, the instruction manual is basic, illustrations hard to read without a magnifying glass. That said the information is there, recommend a careful read and use of safety gloves and clothing when assembling and using, as there are very sharp areas that can cause injury. Quality seems OK on initial inspection, all machined holes lined up exactly. Supplied hardware was correct (presumed stainless), nuts were of 13mm locknut hex type, bolt heads slightly larger and marked '48'. 2. Make sure the indented hinge joint on one half lines up with the two studs on the other half, otherwise the angle between the two halves will be too great. When correctly seated the two halves are only 10-15 degrees 'off straight line' THIS SOULD BE CLEARLY STATED IN THE DESCRIPTION). 3. Handled a Viking lawn mower like a breeze. I also tried walking up and down each ramp separately and they felt stable at my weight (about 70kg).

Excellent and good value

These are sturdy but quite heavy, I suppose you can't have one without the other. They do their job well in supporting an 80kg scooter. My only gripe is the silicone covers on the rods which you place on the vehicle you're loading into. They have split after two uses and I have had to put tape on the rods instead. So far, they have stayed in place well. They come with two hooked straps, which you can attach to something in your vehicle and the ramps to help keep the ramps in place.

Very pleased with my 180cm ramps. Having limited access to the rear of my house, I’m now able to get my mobility scooter(80kg) through the front door.

These ramps don’t come assembled and we had great difficulty in getting the ramps to work just using the nuts bolts and washers provided and the instructions are negligible..You need an extra spacing washer between the two parts (which is fiddly to fit) otherwise they will not lock into place or fold. Looking down the reviews others have had the same problem and returned the product multiple times until they got two working ramps but a thicker spacing washer does the trick. Once this is sorted the ramps are very sturdy and lock into position with a reassuring clunk and fold back down with the same clunk so there’s no danger of trapped fingers. The edges are sharp so I’ve put an edge protector strip on them so I can handle them without gloves.

Strong solid but heavy. Also cannot be left in rain as they rust.

Moved snow blowers, worked well. Drove them up to bed. Did not slip and are light to move. Also used to cross a ditch with a wheelbarrow. Good grip. Sturdy construction.
