Very much on a theme with another of her books.

So I have now read a decent amount of Martina Coles books. I must admit she is a very good writer, however I find a lot of her books to be very much the same. This book in particular was very disappointing.At no point in the book does she mention the ages of the main characters. And I must admit the ending was extremely disappointing considering I thoroughly enjoyed the story line.I feel like the ending was very rushed, and I couldn't believe when I turned the page that that was it, over. Done. It felt very lazy on her behalf.Despite that, it was a very good read and she really throws you into the life of crime, drugs and everything else that may come with this way of life.So in conclusion... Great story but rubbish and rushed ending.

I have given this rating because of the excellent story telling of Martina Cole recommended for anyone who wants a good crime novel

Love that Mary had kind of given up on Jordanna and Kenny when they were small, knew they'd be bullied, different and maybe end up on a bad path.......oh well what can I do they're Imelda's kids they can't aspire to much'.Well Mary, you're supposed to be mad about them so why don't you use your connections and make sure they're OK.Pitiful woman. Oh if they turn out bad then it's Imelda's fault nothing to do with me!!

What a rollercoaster of a ride, what a broken family ,i,ve read this book twice and the second time I found myself reading parts that I some how missed the first time around, when I read books on this subject (family), I find myself feeling so lucky to have come from such a big loving family , sadly my father passed away very young, having older brothers and sisters this story has made me appreciate my family thank you Martina 😉 and Annie Aldington brilliantly narrated as always 10/10..... 5 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Follows the same vein as all other Cole novels - if you like that formula you will enjoy this book. No great surprises, fairly predictable.

The Business gives us a shocking insight into the life of a drug addict and what ends she will go to for her drug of choice. It amazes the mind to see how drug addicts use everyone and anyone around their world, especially family. The story is realistic, believable and entertaining, and is well worth the read.

A really great read - if you enjoyed her other books you will enjoy this one.
