H2O Audio Stream 3 PRO and Surge S+ Earbuds - Underwater Streaming Music Waterproof MP3 Player for Swimming with Bluetooth and Short Cord Underwater Headphones with Superior Sound Quality (Blue)

I got this mp3 player for my Dad (70's) because he likes to swim in the morning at the gym. He spends hours in the pool and he states that this player combined with the ear buds are the best in terms of audio quality. Its easy to use because its just drag and drop mp3's and press play. I highly suggest getting this product if you want something that is straight forward, works well, and simple to use. This is for people that don't need spotify, youtube music, tidal, or other streaming services so getting a mp3 player that is easy to use while preserving audio quality pays for itself. This player is very intentional in is purpose and format. I wrote this review because I wanted to highlight how awesome the warranty and customer service is. My dad had damaged the player (he swims every day and the usb port had a small hole in it) and the customer service with this company was phenomenal. The warranty is a year and to be honest I probably would have bought another device through them. With the amount of time my dad spends in the pool the wear and tear can get rough. The customer service was so communicative and fast to respond. They honored the warranty immediately and replaced my dads product. They were also super nice about everything too (sent me tracking numbers right away). Although there are probably products that might have more utility and modernized then this one, I think there is strong value here in this particular player in regards to its simplicity, audio quality, and customer service.

I have bought several of these. I think at least 6 times I’ve bought them. They sound and work great for a month and always stop working. I don’t use them is salt water , I rinse them and dry them. I store them in a desiccant pouch. They just stop working. They are a really bad product. I have found a new brand that Im using.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Absolutely the Best Underwater MP3 Player & Headphones! I am so impressed with this MP3 player and headphone setup — it's been a total game-changer as I train for my upcoming triathlon! The sound quality underwater is phenomenal, and it’s hands-down the best experience I’ve had with underwater headphones. While the earphones occasionally slip out during longer swims, I did some research and found the STREAM 3 & Surge SX10-SHO (Short Cord) on the company’s website, which looks like the perfect fit for my needs. I didn’t see it available on Amazon, so I’m planning to purchase directly from their site instead. Just wanted to note that my return here isn’t a reflection of the product quality quite the opposite. I absolutely love this device and wanted to explore a model that might be an even better fit for me personally. What makes this all even better is learning that this is a family-owned business. I’m so happy to support a company that puts this much care into their products. Kudos to the team you're doing amazing work. So far it's been amazing! I've used Zygo for a couple of years now and their technology is great, but they are really expensive and the headsets are a little fragile. This looked like a less expensive solution and worth a try. So far, so good. 90% of the time I use it for streaming from my phone and it does a good job. YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SNORKEL!!! It's sensitive to ANY water over the top (Flips turns are totally out). Even the water over the head from a hard push of the wall causes a couple of seconds loss BUT that's a small concession for streamed audio. Again, YOU HAVE TO HAVE A SNORKEL! Just the head going under the water will interrupt the stream. If you buy it knowing that, you're golden. Playlists as a rule are too dull for me...I like a little randomness. That said, when I use the onboard .mp3s it's great. So if flips turns, fast laps, no snorkel, etc. is your jam, it's great. I use the bone conduction phones and I'm very happy with them. I would have liked to try the in-ear phones but the headsets are too expensive for "trying" :). The USB to headphone jack feels cobbled together and I'm worried about its longevity/replacemnts. I think a contact charging setup would be better, but we will see. It's only been a couple of weeks so we will see what they longevity if the device is, but so far I'm pretty happy and impressed with it as an option to replace my Zygo.

Love the functionality of this player, and the simplicity being able to dragon drop sounds into it via computer. Unfortunately, the device tends to fail at about a year and six months, just outside the warranty period. This has happened with three of the devices. The company has great customer service, but offers only a small discount on a future purchase despite my repeated attempts to get one that will last me for a while. They also were not interested in my offer to send them back the defective players for troubleshooting, which tells me that they know about the issue and have decided to continue to let it fail since it is outside the one year warranty period. Bummer.

I bought the Stream 3 Pro for my wife, who likes to listen to music while swimming. The unit functioned correctly at first, but the second time I tried to connect it to the computer to add music, the computer failed to recognize it. I chatted withe H2O Audio and they suggested some fixes. I followed the instructions, but nothing worked. When I contacted H2O Audio again to seek further guidance, they immediately offered to send me a new unit, which works perfectly. Excellent customer service.

I bought the unit from Amazon, downloaded the app which informs me that update is available, I click on the update then I'm told I can only update from H2O 's Website or by sending email to customer support at H2o which i did (both) then I'm asked for a picture of the model which, I did, then I was asked for an invoice which can't be downloaded from Amazon for some reason, and Amazon asks me to contact seller. I really don't understand this process, I should be able to download the update as long as I have the unit and I'm connected to the app of H2O. Keep in mind that I just received this in Sept 2024.. 28-11-24 I managed to get the update hence I revised my rating, since the product is good, it has some shortfalls but honestly but for the purpose its meant for its the best in the market. This is my second unit I had the older version for a 6 years before it finally gave up. Look forward to an updated or newer model with better streaming download options. Quality is reliable but reaching customer support requires some work and can definitely improve.

My workouts in the pool have become nicer with the H2Oaudio headphones, now inseparable swimming companion. The sound is perceived in the water without interruption, the normal headphones in the ear are filled with water, with H2Oaudio bone conduction does not lose the music even during the flip turn. Only the lowest tones become hums, but you don’t have to listen to a piano concerto by Franz Liszt.

Have returned previous one from another brand and was refunded by Amazon (thanks again) as it stopped working in MP3 Mode after first use in pool. I used it h2O in pool for two hours and experience was fine. The 360 clipping helps more comfortable with swimming cap ; which l thought could be problematic. The sound is ok vocals and high pitches not so promising. But believe this is normal for bone conduction and when you are in water. An equalizer preset/ mode selection would be good to have :) Will try to update comments in 4-6 weeks as was hard to find reviews that would help me decide on which product to buy for swimming
