Very impressive looking set
It looks really impressive to give or receive. It looks like a big solid hardback book. The seal on the box is magnetic and feels solid and quality. Externally the set looks amazing. Inside it is packed with tea, but I did find it looked a bit dishevelled as the tea packets are not held into compartments but can slide around a bit over each other (with 3 sections). That said, it is only a minor criticism of what is otherwise a very impressive product. Oh, and the tea is lovely too ;-)

Great for any tea lover
The Vedas book of teas is a great gift idea for anyone who loves tea and enjoys trying different flavours. The box has 48 individually wrapped tea bags, 12 different flavours (4 of each flavour) to choose from. There are some nice flavours, I can't say we liked them all as we didn't, but others may like all.The box is shaped like a book and the teas are nicely placed inside.Great gift idea.Recommended

Impressive gift box, some (but not all) lovely teas
As gift sets go, the presentation is strong on this one. When it says it’s a ‘book of tea’, it really does look and feel like a hardback book, and a large one at that. When you open it up, there’s a strong smell of various spices, and it’s generously packed too. Because each individually wrapped teabag is quite chunky, the vast majority of the insides is taken up by the teabags, rather than padding like I’ve seen in other more cheeky and less generous gift sets. Each teabag is large, and packed with chunky and sometimes recognisable pieces. For apparent authenticity and generosity, it scores highly. The tea itself is a mixed bag for me though unfortunately. There are four bags of each of twelve types (though they are rather mixed up when you first open the box, so my first job was to sort them!), and there are some where I wish I’d got more than four teabags, and others where I disliked them so strongly that I’m not sure what I’m going to do with the other three bags of that type. Some are lovely. The green flavours are quite light, without being too sweet, and have some delicate but recognisable flavours- I particularly like the vanilla ashwaganda one, and the tulsi & moringa one was a pleasant surprise. The ‘normal’ cacao tea has a lovely unsweetened dark chocolate taste to it, without being bitter, while the cacao with rose and ashwaganda flavour sounds like it’s going to be a mess, but ends up turning out really well.Others, I struggled with. The plumeria tea tastes like how incense shops smell, and not in a good way, while the assam, which I assumed would be a bit of an easy home run in terms of making a good tea flavour, ends up not having enough of that malty biscuit taste to it, and isn’t as nice as some other assams I’ve tried, including cheap ones. All the teabags are individually wrapped in a thick wrap that feels plasticky, and is certainly thicker than just paper. They’re quite difficult to tear, and once I realised that the teabags inside are also quite fragile (I’ve had two of them split on me already), I stopped trying to rip them open and realised I needed to open each one individually with scissors when I wanted to use it. So they aren’t the easiest teabags to use.Not every tea is a hit, and for twenty-five quid, forty-eight teabags is not a lot even if they are good quality ones. But as an exciting and exotic gift box that makes you want to open it up and sample something new, it has a lot of appeal- and once I’ve finished these forty-eight bags I’ll be restocking it with other flavours and using it regularly.

A nicely presented set of very different teas
The Vedas Book Of Tea Gift Set Is an interesting set that takes the form of a book but opening it up presents you with three sections full of individually wrapped tea bags. There are a lot to choose from too, green teas, black teas, cacao tea and even rose jasmine, 12 types in all. They come with a Small booklet to go through them all. The teas are promoted as having different health benefits, some of which are well documented and others feel like a bit of a stretch but generally it’s all natural ingredients that are good for you. It’s a nice set for Indian Tea lovers that is well presented and provides a good selection of decent strength teas.

Great flavour
The media could not be loaded. This 'Book of Tea' not just comes with nice packaging, the tea itself is actually rich and full of flavour. It comes with 12 flavours and 4 tea bags per flavour. We tasted a few and they are all great. This makes an excellent gift to any tea lovers.

Large, attractive gift box of pyramid tea bags - direct from India...
An interesting selection of Indian herbal teas, these are attractively packaged in a slide-out tray book-style packaging which is sealed. There are a total of 48 pyramid shaped tea bags - 4 bags each of 12 different flavours. The product is best before 24 months from the date of packaging, which in the case of the box I received was July 2023.Six of the styles of tea bags here are green teas - so this could be perfect for gifting to a green tea lover. But the other six teas are also authentically Indian and all-told, this is a beautiful set that should present an exciting voyage of discovery for any tea lover. The fact that these teas are packaged at source in India adds a legitimacy and integrity to this large and stylish gift set. 'The Vedas', incidentally, are the three texts that form the basis of Hinduism composed in Vedic Sanskrit.
