Great insights of the times and status of the birth of Rocketry in India at TERLS.
Have only read up to Chapter 7 of the Book 'Building Foundations'. Being a Deputy to APJ Abdul Kalam, the author has given great insights about the status and working at TERLS. Would have liked a couple of old photos, other than those already published so far. Also a few dates of events at TERLS would have been appreciated.I liked it best, after reading the autobiography of R. Aravamudan which also chronicles the early initiatives of ISRO and Dr. Vikram A. Sarabhai, at TERLS, Thiruvananthapuram.- Apurba Kanjilal, Former Head, ISRO, SDSC SHAR, Sriharikota.

A riveting tale
An excellent account of how a young lad from Kerala went on to take charge of India's Space agency - ISRO. You'll soon notice that it is more of an engineer's view of all things ISRO v/s a personal biography. Very engaging read with great technical content.
