Great transition into barefoot shoes!
These were my first introduction into barefoot shoes as I wanted to strengthen my super flat feet, and I have nothing but positives for anyone else wanting to do the same! As mentioned, I have flat feet from genetics and a bunion on one foot. I DO NOT have any bunion pains with these shoes as they are wide to accommodate both of my feet! There is a slight cushion on back of heel area, which I really like, and there is a slight foot cushion for the sole, but it is super low since these are barefoot shoes. The sizing chart has changed slightly since I have bought these, but I can fit anywhere from a 7 to an 8 depending on the brand of shoes, and for these I bought a 7.5 (my feet are about 9.5 in length and 3.5 in width) as I like a hair bit of space in front of my toes in my shoes and these were perfect. I did not have to break them in at all, they were ready to wear the next day basically!I do mild exercises, so my transition into barefoot shoes from my arch supported old sneakers did not take too long (going on month two as I am writing this review), but some days I can feel my calf muscles working a lot more than other days as my feet and legs are still getting use to barefoot shoes. It is very nice though being able to feel the ground more with these shoes while still protecting my feel from rocks, concrete, etc. I now have two pairs of Whitin (the gray and white ones) and I might buy more!Overall, I recommend these shoes to anyone. :)Edit: Onto month four and I still feel the same! I have started weight lifting and these are my go to for that as my toes can really spread for heavier weights. Anytime I’ve had to wear “normal” shoes, my feet start to miss these shoes!

Wide toe box and adorable, too!
The media could not be loaded. These women’s Whitin wide toe sneakers have been on my radar for quite a long time, and I have hesitated in buying them. I’m so glad I pressed the button on Prime day!!,These are perfect for my feet. My toes have room to spread out and wiggle, no compression on my very small bunion from pointy high heels, and the shoes do not feel like they are flopping on my feet at all. The material is breathable and the sole is almost barefoot, but still having a bit of cushion and support. I could choose to remove the insert if need be.** Measure with a little extra room in mind - I did need to return my first pair and get one size up so that the tip of my toe did not touch the end of the shoeAnother bonus is that they are super adorable on. I love that. And don’t judge my ankle socks - I’ll be wearing no-show socks! The light gray color has a little bit of beige in it, which makes it versatile. These Whitins are going to go great with several different outfits. I’m so glad I purchased!

So comfy
Flexible, light, so comfy. I did have to return and increase a half size because I didn't see something in the sizing guidelines (my mistake)These feel great for work but they could've used some cushion for walking on a trip to Italy. Normally they do not hurt my feet unless I step on rocks. The insole wore out after three months though and has rough spots. Hopefully whitin will replace those.

I've never loved a shoe as much as these
In all my years of buying sneakers I've always just found them adequate, good enough to do the job. I don't think I've ever had a pair of sneakers that I've loved. But these are amazing! They are the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned. I absolutely love these. After getting used to the comfort of a food shaped shoe (wide toe box and zero drop), I tried to put on a pair of hiking boots that were at one time my every day shoe, and it felt like squeezing my feet into a coffin, I couldn't even walk to my chicken coop and back, I had to take them off on the walk back. I'll never go back to the common style shoe/sneaker. Barefoot shoes all the way!

Cute, but felt like clown shoes
Got these to cross train in, I already have wide feet, so I thought they would fit good, still too wide! Wanted a minimalist shoe but still thick and heavy sole. I felt like I was wearing clown shoes.
