Got this for our grandson for Xmas.

My grandson loves this product he plays with it for hours.

The pieces in this set are a good large size and great for youngsters to easily piece together and make all manner of interesting creations. My 8 year old daughter has had lots of fun building with this. It's her first K'nex set, so she was a little confused by the pieces to start with, but once she figured out how they fit together she was well away. There's all sorts of different pieces in this set, including eyes, ears and noses! The set comes boxed along with a leaflet showing a range of building suggestions. It would've been nice if they'd included some instructions on how to actually make these builds though, especially as my daughter wanted to make them, but struggled to figure out how by herself. Thankfully the majority are quite simple to make. Overall it's a great kit containing plenty of fun shaped pieces - it makes a fantastic starter set for youngsters who are new to the K'nex range.

We’ve not had a knex set before and this is a great one to get started with. The pieces are easy to fit together, and it includes a design sheet to give you some ideas of how to make different farm animals. What I really like is the inclusion of the eyes as it makes the models that bit easier to tell what they’re supposed to be. My 4 year old likes playing with the builds. Good fun!

I used to love knex growing up and glad to see that it’s still going and accessible to younger ages. Some of the bits are still quite fiddly so younger ages may need help and I would probably still supervise as well, but on the whole they’re a much easier setup than what I had as knex. The colours are lovely and bright and there are some build examples and steps included for kiddos to follow. A lot of the pieces are nice and generic though so you could really use this as a good starter kit for kiddos to start building using their imagination. The price is about right for knex as well, but you do get really good quality building pieces for it.

Great childrens building set by k'nex Box contains over 60 multi coloured pieces for k'nex, the pieces are larger and chunkier to normal k'nex pieces making this set suitable young children (set is suitable for ages 3yrs+) Contains booklet with pictures for building 20 different farm yard models from scarecrow, chicken, dog. Great for imagination and creative play My 7yr old enjoyed playing with this set (however she did require some help building some of the models). K'nex make some fantastic sets and this one is no exception. It comes with 65 pieces and has a farmyard theme and includes templates to make 20 different structures/animals. This would make a great starter set to introduce children to K'nex but also makes a great addition to existing sets as my daughter has a large tub with all sorts of shapes but didn't have any sets to make animals with eyes etc so this set will be added to her tub and mixed with her other sets it lets her imagination go wild as she spends hours building. Highly recommended.

This set of K'NEX is great for our grandchildren as they love anything that involves building things. The set has 65 large, colourful pieces and is suitable for children 3+, there are pictures on how to build the 20 different farm themed models, but they can be used to make anything their minds can make up. These pieces are easy to put together and pull apart again, they will be good for their fine motor skills and creativity. K'NEX is a very well known brand that our own children had when they were growing up, and we know our grandchildren will love playing with it as they grow up. At £21.99 at the time of writing this review, we would highly recommend this set if you have small children who enjoy being creative.

My boys are obsessed with these kids sets! This farm one is so cute! My 4 year old can manage to look at the pictures and complete them on his one! Much easier for small hands than the other sets. Great for imagination and design, easier than Lego and other building sets for older kids. Very pleased with the quality! Just wish it had more pieces but will just need to buy additional sets to keep them busy on summer break!

The pieces are larger than standard K'nex making it easier for little fingers to build on their own. He loved the googly eyes
