A great coffee table book, with an interesting overview of the history of the brand. I'd recommend this if you're interested in traditional menswear.

Bien livré mais lors de l’ouverture du colis, j’ai remarqué que la couverture était endommagée... dommage pour un livre qu’on met sur une table basse...

全文英語なので(私の場合)和訳するには辞書に付きっきりになるでしょうが、そこまでしなくても写真を見ているだけで充分に楽しいです。装丁も豪華だし、Brooks Brothersのファンの方なら一様に楽しめるでしょう。和訳が苦手でも本棚の一角を飾ります(笑)。また、この価格も驚きです。以前、ROLEXの同じような写真集が￥20,000ぐらいしていたのを覚えています。

本も大変分厚いが（笑）、描かれているブルックス・ブラザーズの歴史の厚みも十二分に感じることができた。昭和天皇が登場するページが秀逸だと思う。なぜ海外からの送料込みでこれほど廉価なのか理解不能だが、ゴールデン・ウィークにニューヨークのバーンズ＆ノーブルで買いたい衝動を抑えて正解だった。もし買ってしまっていたら、購入価格とスーツケースの重さで二重にショックを受けるところだった。

貴重な写真の数々で歴史を振り返る。本文は英語なのでほとんど眺めているようなものですが、お茶を飲みながらページをめくるのも楽しい。でも、重い！
