Boye crochet hooks are perfection.
I've recently returned to crochet, and I tried the newer designs of straight hooks and ergonomic hooks. I really dislike all of them. The classic design of Boye hooks--a tapered neck, good hook depth, and polished finish--makes crocheting so much easier. I hope the manufacturers never "improve" the design of Boye hooks but if they do, I hope I find out beforehand so I can stock up on the perfection of the classic hooks!

Right size
I think I left my Boya size G at my cousins house. I needed it so while ordering a few things from Amazon I included the size G crochet hook to the order. I rarely go anywhere so ordering it was the way to go. I love the quality of Boya crochet hooks. I recommend it.

Still my favorite hooks from a dependable brand
I have been crocheting for 35 years and these crochet hooks are always dependable and almost the only kind I use. The aluminum is smooth and doesn’t snag the yarn, is comfortable to hold and light weight, produces a nice even crochet stitch. The price is great - no need for me to spend any more than the few bucks. The size is accurate compared to my 35 year old J hook. A ball of yarn and this hook makes a very portable project to take anywhere.

Performs reliably.
I'm a very experienced (and published) crocheter, and always preferred Boye-brand tools. I was disappointed in this size hook only in that it didn't alleviate arthritis and carpal tunnel syndrome symptoms as well as I'd hoped. But I'm making only small projects now, anyway, so I don't need to engage in marathon crochet sessions, as I did before age caught up with my creativity.

My Favorite kind of hooks!!
These are my absolute favorite kind of crochet hooks. They glide nicely when working on your projects. They have a good weight to them that helps me keep good control. Absolutely recommend!
