it's a hat ball marker
I thought this would help me.. but the bubble really does not move. maybe a fraction. and maybe every green here is just simply flat... (in florida) Maybe when I get back to Missouri, I will see more slope on the bubble. It does move if you slant it enough

Helpful for shorter putts.
A great conversation piece, but not as useful as I had thought. It does read the level at the ball position, but from the ball to the hole, not so much ( obviously ). In fairness, I do still use it for putts within 6 feet.

Not sure about this.
I purchased two of these. One the liquid evaporated and in the other the bubble doubled it's size. When I first used them they worked great. But it appears they are not made for the long haul.
