Hydronix CB-25-1001 Universal Reverse Osmosis & Drinking Systems Coconut Carbon Block Water Filter

I use this filter on a two filter system that I built to use with my RV; this is the finer second filter in the system. Seems to be working as designed.

One micron is pretty tight for the last filter in the seven stage R/O system, but it makes water that reads absolutely ZERO TDS. Our city water reads 58 PSI, and126 TDS. It reads 5 coming out of the R/O and ZIP after going thru a resin and this 1 micron as a last stage. Only time will tell what will plug up first, but it's worth the effort to have drinking water that does not have the slightest taste whatsoever. The system has been in for a couple of months now, and there is no drop in flow.

1st time this brand. Nice tasting H20 and consistent. I like this filter, it's a good one- will buy again.

this is a high quality filter...I use a 1 micron poly filter in stage one to take out the rust and particulates, then this 1 micron carbon filter for flavor...end up replacing first stage poly filter about 3 times to 1 for carbon...I've been using Hydronix since 12/18...the price has gone up since then but so have most things in this economy...it is still a great value

This is not a standard 2.5 x 10 inch filter. It is 2.75 x 9.875 inch. Does not fit standard under the sink slimline house cartridge canister.

Did not reduce TDM to an acceptable level.

I recently made a mistake by buying a 3-pack of carbon water filters on Amazon because the price was much cheaper in comparison to Hydronix.Those "bargain" filters lasted less than one week EACH and we could taste our horrible tap water...I kid you not!Threw those out, (could not return) and bought Hydronix, a brand I have purchased before, and we're very happy with the taste of our water now.
