Q: does it come with the thin flexible rods on top of the plastic spikes? Or are those extra?

Mine didn’t come with rods. Looks like an add on.

Q: How long is the belt? Will it fit a 38 inch waist?

My husband has a 34 inch waist and there’s still slack in the belt. So my best guess is yes but it’ll either just fit or be slightly snug

I just had mine delivered 7/26/2022. It came with the silicon spikes, waist belt and neck strap.

I should have. Mine did. They’re in a separate bag and you have to install em. Make sure they’re not hidden in your box
