Anyone who’s ever hard wired a trailer adapter will love this plug and play setup. It cannot be any easier, 2023 what a time to be alive...No complaints, if you can unscrew your tail lights lenses you can instal this.

Very easy to install. It’s great that no wires had to be cut. Probably only took 45 minutes to install. But now I could probably do it in twenty minutes. But I’m 70 years old and not in a hurry.

Easy install, no cutting or splicing wire. Hardest part is drilling a hole for the ground wire. When you place the control box, make sure its low enough and/or clear so the light fixture will fit back in. I almost had mine too high. I also wrapped the wires for additional protection where there were sharp edges that might scrape or cut the wires. Tester shows all light work properly, until I turn on the tail lights, then I do not have working brake or turn signals on the trailer side. Vehicle lights work just fine no matter what. Vehicle lights are all stock, and all testing was done with a 4 pin tester.

The product functions well after hookup. Plenty of extra lead to route the wires anywhere (and tie up the extra), except the main box (small as it is) almost doesn't have much extra lead wire to have free choice as to where to mount it (it mounts just as the wire loom is coming out of the driver's side lamp cavity.ONE COMPLAINT is that YOU have to devise a means to mount the trailer connection or just let it dangle in free air. I devised a series of zip ties hold it up from being snagged from road debris or whatever, ... yet when you separate the rubber protector from the trailer connection, it allows it to drop down 3-4" to allow handling and connection.

When I hit the brakes my right turn signal flashes like it has a blown bulb along with the brake light. Checked all grounds, read a forum where multiple people narrowed it down to a bad converter box on the assembly.

I fixed the constant burning of the passenger stop light...I did replace the old hard wire connection I did last year, and I guess my grounding was defective...now with this "plug and play" option it looks tidier.I am still having issues with the same light of my trailer, I will try to find a better grounding for it or run a thicker wire to it may solve it

Ordered For a 2003 Tacoma. Installed very easily. Worked great for 10 months then began shorting out the signal lights when the brake was applied. Eventually It began blowing Brake light fuses. I removed it from the vehicle to check for any corrosion or Wires rubbed through. All looks good. Internal short I guess.
