Levy's Leathers 2" Cotton Strap for Resonator Style Guitars with Headstock Loop and Tri-Glide Height Adjustment; Brown (MC8A-BRN)

As an owner of two Levy's straps already, I knew I could trust them with quality. I was looking for one for an acoustic guitar with only one strap bolt on it. What drew me to this strap was its unique, looped end since I don't like having string holding my strap and guitar together. I hadn't seen any like that before. When attached to the guitar it looks really good with the suede and canvas look and it feels safe and sturdy. The only downside (which is more to do with my guitar) is that the leather is very stiff and my guitar has a pretty wide bolt, so I'm going to have to leave it on for a while to stretch it out. It is quite tricky getting the loop through if you've left your strings on too, so it's probably best to leave the strap on anyway.

Expensive for what it is and the headstock connection is poorly thought out and awkward. I might find a use for it sometime but for the moment I've replaced it with one a third of the price and a bootlace at the headstock.

Great product, already have one. However, don't buy through chummymusical. Product did not arrive, no reply from seller after contacting them. Now trying to get a refund via Amazon.

The strap can only be fitted correctly at the headstock with the strings loose?

This guitar strap is nice, soft cotton with heavy duty, leather fastener at the butt and then nice web strap at one end which goes at the head stock you’ll have to remove the strings to put it on is the only catch. I wish I had a clip on it so you could kind of put it off and on as needed but otherwise it does the job..

Ottima tracolla specialmente per il prezzo a cui l'ho pagata: poco più di 13 euro. Nelle recensioni si leggono pareri discordanti sul montaggio. Non so quale sia l'idea del produttore (istruzioni non ce ne sono), ma l'ipotesi di montarla prima di montare le corde non mi sembra molto pratica e sopra le corde decisamente da escludere. Io ho fatto passare l'anello sotto le corde e poi ho infilato tutta la tracolla all'interno dell'anello. Mi sembra che vada benissimo se non si ha la necessità di metterla e toglierla continuamente. E' una tracolla non imbottita, piuttosto leggera (ma credo sufficientemente robusta) e stretta quindi non adatta per strumenti pesanti. La utilizzo con una weissenborn che è appunto uno strumento molto leggero.

Works well for acoustic and resonator guitars that don't have a 2nd strap pin. Loop end goes below the strings and then loop the strap through the loop and put the other end on the strap button. No need to take out strings or tie with anything else as suggested by some of the critical reviews. Would probably help some people if the strap came with instructions.

Love the look (which fits perfectly with my Gretch Jim Dandy guitar) and the feel of this strap.
