Perfect Fit
I needed a hose for my dust collector. It was a perfect fit for the 4 inch port on the collector. Hose is nice and flexible and bendy to get to any spot in your shop. Hose is a thick enough material I'm not worried about it getting cut or punctured. Although this is probably user error and I didn't need to tighten it that much, the wing nut on the clamp skips if you tighten it too much.

Solution to fit problems
I have read a few reviews indicating problems with fit on 4” dust collector accessories. I had the same issue with my product. I spent probably 30 minutes fumbling with the host and the fitting - it would not fit over a standard 4” coupling. It had also been sitting in an unheated garage for a couple months. I used a heat gun on the end to make the hose a little more flexible. You could see the hose expanding as heat was applied. It worked quickly, and within a few seconds easily slid onto the fitting. After having left it clamped to the coupling overnight (low 30s temp) it now has the shape of the 4” coupling. It easily slid off of that and onto another fitting with no issue. I suspect a hair dryer would do the trick as well.

Less than 4" diameter and only 7' long, useless junk
I bought this to connect a standard 4" outlet on my thickness planer to a 4" dust collection bag. First, the tube when completely stretched as long as humanly possible was only 7' long, so you are ripped-off by 3' from the start. Second, the tube is not wide enough to fit over 4" fittings. It actually broke the dust outlet off of my planer while trying to connect it. If you get some help with a few people using pliars, you may get the opening wide enough to go over a 4" connector, but you won't get it done without doing a lot of damage. I got mine on with a lot of work, but ended up with holes in the hose for the effort, I could not wait to return it for one the might fit and had to go with the garbage they sent.

Very sturdy and flexible
I liked the sturdiness of these hoses. The hose clamps that come with it are very solid. I was afraid that the wing nut style hose clamps would be weak but they are far from. If you let the hoses sit in the sun for a bit to warm up they easily slide over your dust collector ports and connections very easily.

Used for leaf pickup on vacuum shredder
It’s barely 8’. Had to use a heat gun to slide it on.

Flexible Hose
If you’re like most guys, you just want flexible hose. Not only are these hose flexible, but they’re tough and always there when I need them. I’ve had hose in the past that weren’t nearly as flexible or reliable. These hose are the ones you want and the ones you deserve. Do yourself and favor and ditch the other hose. And grab this pair of flexible hose.
