We had a queen size duvet in this same pattern, which used a button closure at the bottom. We needed to upgrade to King sized and decided to keep same pattern. Somewhere over the years, the closure was changed to a low quality zippers (which arrived with missing stitching, so not fully attached to the comforter). Returning, and shopping for a new duvet now.

I figured it was time to treat my husband and myself to a new duvet cover (and new duvet insert). I wanted a design that would hide pet fur since we wash our sheets once a week, but our duvet cover only once or twice a month. This pattern looked lovely online, and when it arrived, it looked just as nice in person.It smelled like chemicals (the dye, perhaps?), so into the wash it went, and it came out still looking great. I got a  KingLinen® White Down Alternative Comforter Duvet Insert  to go with it and flopped onto it and both my cats and I were in heaven. When we all went to sleep that night, my husband said it felt like we were in a fancy hotel. I like the contrast of the print on the opposite side, and really, if you wanted, you can even flip this over and use the other side on occasion if you get bored, so you're really getting two designs for the price of one here.Paired it with  AmazonBasics Microfiber Sheet Set  in Dark Grey (which has a blue cast to it) which matched nicely with this cover set.

Quality great

This is an average product, which is why I'm giving it am average rating. I'm very happy with the price I paid and what I received, I think that had I paid full price for this duvet I'd be disappointed.The good features are: cost, and product received (which is two king pillow shams and one king sized duvet). The print is nice, just don't look too closely it gets a tad cartoon-y in the close up. But, from a distance it looks very nice. It's a really nice happy, neutral kind of design, I think it would work well for a multitude of styles and settings.What I'm underwhelmed by, (but by no means shocked that this is what I received, nor do I feel cheated out of my money) is the fabric. Even after the initial wash and dry it's still pretty scratchy. I think that after a few washes it'll probably soften up more.The major bummer out of the entire purchase is that there's no corner ties to secure the duvet together. That alone made me dock one star. I honestly wish I had just waited and spent a little more for something from West Elm. Which is too bad; I was really excited to receive this, and had it on my wishlist for awhile.It's a satisfactory purchase for the price I paid, but this is definitely an item that's going to wind up being "just for now".

Maybe uses this comforter for show and not for comfort. It looks really pretty but it doesn't feel breathable at night. I found myself kicking it off the bed and just sleeping with a sheet.

I had been searching for a while trying to find a sturdy duvet cover or quilt that would hold up to my 50 and 60 pound dogs and their nails. I also wanted one that was machine washable and would kind of hide the fur. This one was perfect! It is a nice thick sturdy fabric and with the print you can't see the dog fur. I've had it about a month and love it. Machine wash and dry. I'm a warm sleeper so I don't have a duvet in the cover, I'm using it just as is with my top sheet. I have a king and wish it were just a little longer, but it fits like every king duvet I've ever had. And if I had to chose between one that was bigger but not as sturdy or this one, I would choose this one everytime.

Exactly what I was looking for in terms of color and softness. The only thing missing are ties to keep the insert in place. I knew that when I ordered it, but I just loved the color and design so much.

Nothimg to dislike. Washed really well, no shrinkage, colours stayed true. The reverse side is just as attractive. There is a zipper closure on the duvet cover & on both pillow cases! Price was incredible for such a quality product. Very pleased with this purchase.

The printing of the pattern is nice and crisp and the fabric is a decent weight. I found the colours to be true to the images online: dark/navy blue, pale blue, white, and beige.

It was so difficult to find a cotton king duvet on Amazon that wasn't a drab solid gray, beige, or impractical pure white, or with a light neutral tone pattern, or the opposite, hideous. Many choices seemed cheap or microfiber, and many were going to take several weeks for delivery. I settled on this one, I'm happy with it. Nice eye-catching pattern with dark and light colors=dog friendly. Good cotton material, printed well, washed well, no cheap cotton wrinkling, and arrived quickly. Drapes over my queen bed generously with the new mulberry silk duvet insert. A good solid choice.

Ammmmazing!!!! Even more beautiful in person. Material is wonderful & colors are fabulous. This is just what I was looking for. Looks and feels much more expensive then what I paid. Plus it’s pet friendly which was important with two shedding dogs
