It’s a lot of reading to cut through to the meat of actionable ideas. I will need to revisit summaries to get ideas.

I’ve read a lot of these books, and I really enjoyed how this one actually shows you photos of so many organizers’ homes around the world. I also enjoyed the common pattern of them being largely minimalist in most areas so that there is room for their particular treasures, whether that’s handbags or snack variety or jewelry. Not everybody values the same kind of collection and that was interesting and fun to note. (Not every woman is a shoe lover, turns out - but if you are, that’s cool too!) I also thought it was interesting that so many organizers like to wear tattered jeans with silver flats! They are a beautiful tribe.

This book was so inspiring and insightful! It was really helpful to see the commonalities and differences in organizers all over the world. The book contains insights from small, apartment dwelling minimalists to home living maximalists. I found ideas to implement in each chapter and find myself rereading sections already. The photos really augment the book so I could see exactly how certain techniques were accomplished. I definitely recommend this book if you are looking for organizing ideas!

Loved the unique perspective of seeing homes of professional organizers from all over the world. Shira shows us that there is no "right way" or "wrong way" to declutter and organize, but instead shares tips and techniques. This came out just in time to help me organize my new laundry. The photos are amazing too!
