This is what you think you're buying. That's great. It looks nice. It's the right size. Seems like good quality for the price. The only thing that I don't like you might love. The waistband is intentionally stretchy, so it's like a scrunch stretchy in the back. If you're like me, and have a smaller waist but large enough a butt and hips that a small will be too small, you're probably gonna have an awkward looking fit. It's not so awkward I wouldn't wear it, but in the back it's a little baggy so it stretches. It just looks a little weird if you aren't using the stretch. Also, the shorts underneath. They are completely sheer. So, I am honestly unsure why they are there? I guess it keeps everything in place, but it's not going to provide you protection from a large gust, they will still see everything just thinly veiled with mesh. It kind of just prevents you from wearing your own shorts.

My niece really wanted a black pleated mini-skirt for Christmas. She's into anime and manga and a lot of those characters wear these. I wasn't sure what size to order because it's hard to tell if this is sized for teens or women's fit. I ordered an XL and I could fit in it as a woman who wears a size 14 or 16 pants. It did come very wrinkled, but I was quite happy with how easy it was to iron and it looked good after I ironed it. I like the pockets and the shorts underneath. I think that will make it comfortable in addition to being cute. 100% polyester.

I ordered the skirt without the shorts underneath, and the sizing was perfect, so I’d say just follow the measurements. The length is good, and it can even be worn higher up on the waist and still be a comfortable length. The zipper and button are so far, so good! I really enjoy the elastic feature in the back as well.The one complaint I have is that the pleats don’t stay.. they fell out after one wash, and I don’t know how I’d made them stay (perhaps you could fortify them with some sewing). It’s still slightly pleated, but it looks a little messy now is all.

Ordered the plain black with built in shorts version and was very pleasantly surprised to find it has POCKETS! Not only that, but they're perfectly hidden within the side seams and of decent size to actually be useful. Skirt fit true to the size chart and is comfortable and seems to be well made for the price and the pleats are well defined. I really like the elastic in the back. The attached shorts are a nice touch and made of a soft, silky feeling material. My only issue is I'm short (5'3") and the high waisted style fits really high on me, but that's not an uncommon fit "issue" for me because of my short torso. I still like the skirt. If you have an ample backside, you may find the back looks shorter than the front, just pull the front up a touch and it'll look even.

I'm a 6'2" 200 lb crossdresser that loves wearing skirts and reliving my stolen childhood, and I ordered an XL in navy, and it fits a little tight, which is somewhat inconvenient, but somewhat of a vibe, like a rough ride in a truck. The zipper always gets stuck at the base of the waistband because the fabric is thicker there, but it will zip all the way up after about 30 seconds of frustration. There is no button at the top of the zipper, at least for the solid colors. This is an Asian brand, so size one size up if you want maximum comfort. Next time, I will probably order a XXL so that it's easier to take on and off and so that the zipper has more room to work properly. Or, I might just buy a Dresstells pleated mini skirt and avoid the zipper completely. It's also a high-waisted fit, so it will be pretty short on you. The skirt is cute, well made, and elastic in the back, but the material is not stretchy whatsoever. The shorts attached are stretchy, but also baggy, flimsy, and cheap, and they won't protect you from scrapes at the skatepark at all. They also have a very narrow area in the groin compared to how wide the leg holes are.

I purchased Several of the Sangtree skirts as they fit me perfectly and they are affordable and really Cute! As I mentioned previously, they are not all that well made but at this price range, I can accept & live with that. Just don’t expect designer craftsmanship or for them to last very long and you’ll be ok. If something is a fair or really good price then I’ll enjoy it for a season or however long it’s in style and not have unreasonable or unrealistic expectations. Btw, for reference, I’m 5’8”, 145 lbs. & ordered large.

Cute but the material is poor quality and the top skirt clings to the attached slip after a few washes which makes it unwearable.

Fits awkwardly in my opinion, might remove the shorts and see if I can get it to look better. Because of the shallowness(?) Of the shorts the skirt has to sit lower on the hips making it snugger as it's not sitting on the smaller part of the waist if that makes sense. So it looks awkward. The quality is nice but my pleats came all funky so I'll have to iron it.
