This brace does its job and does it well. It's very stiff and sturdy, which ensures that there will be no movement of the wrist while you're wearing it. The closures are easily adjusted using the velcro and the stretch of the loops makes it a versatile fit. It comes specific to left or right hand so make sure you choose the right one for your situation. Once you put it on, they're is virtually no ability to bend your wrist, and yet it's decently comfortable, given that it completely immobilizes the hand below the elbow and above the knuckles. It does, however, start to feel a little rough after wearing it for a while, so I'm only giving it 4 stars.

This left wrist brace covers the entire palm of my hand up to my fingers, and my wrist halfway up my forearm. It fits my plus size arm with room to spare. I wanted that amount of coverage due to a ganglion cyst where my palm meets my wrist. The area swells up a lot and causes painful tendonitis. So I wanted a brace to provide stability and support around my wrist, but I also need to compress my palm around the cyst. This brace does both of those things well and makes it much easier for me to work with my hand during a flare up. It's made of a soft, comfortable neoprene that doesn't make my skin sweat or feel damp, although it does get warm after several hours of wear. The lacing closure allows me to wrap my wrist with the exact amount of tightness I want, and the removable metal splint that holds my wrist in place. This is a good quality wrist brace and I'm satisfied with it.
