Cheap versus costly.
Definitely a much more substantial and harder-wearing product than it's much cheaper Chinese-sourced equivalent (I have bought both). However the cheaper one achieves effectively the same degree of filtration, it would appear... I liked the guidance and free downloadable book with this.

Works perfectly! Love mine
I love love love making my own cold brew! Use it in a wide mouth quart jar. I grind my beans, add RO water and wait over night. Amazing!

There are no words for how much I love this thing
There are no words for how much I love this thing. I mean, yeah, I have jars with lids and sieves, but frankly? That mess was a pain in the butt. This makes it so easy. And yeah, sure, there is a tiny bit of sediment in the bottom, but we are(were?) French press people, so we are used to that. And especially if you love cold brew and are paying for it in a coffee shop. Just get this! It's so freaking easy! And so much cheaper!

Works perfectly with a coarse-ground coffee.
Item received was as described, was well-packaged, and works well. I use a coarse grind of coffee in it, and no grounds get thru.
