Very nice tool
I had another bed pole but I left my tailgate open and it fell out. I bought this one and it’s much nicer than the one I had before. The materials are better and it feels more durable. I use this all the time to keep from climbing up into the bed. Especially on garbage day, that can be a disgusting prospect.

Every truck should come with this tool as an accessory
I’m not much on writing reviews, but I have to say having a back injury it is so difficult to retrieve items that have slid to the front of the truck bed. Face it that nonskid bed liner isn’t all that. So I have get a step ladder roll back the bed cover and then climb in the back. This tool is my new best friend. It’s sturdy light and literally makes my life better. I highly recommend buying this tool.

Why didn't I get this tool years ago?
Now that I am in my 8th decade it is a slow tedious job getting into the bed of my truck. With this cargo retriever hook I no longer have to unless it is to strap down a load. My truck has a great spray in liner that is very rough so things do not easily slide on the bed. This tool is strong enough to push most anything to the very front of the bed and then to pull it to the tailgate. I recently had to take someone 40 gallons of fuel in 5 gallon cans. This tool meant I could secure the load against the head of the truck bed and position the cans so that they would not slide side to side. I may buy more of this cargo retriever hook for Christmas gifts.
