SeaSense 31M Battery Box

Exactly the size needed, sturdy with tie down straps. Works perfectly for my camper solar battery. Should provide years of service.

Works fine for my use- to cover up the battery terminals after a mishap in my boat battery compartment. May buy another.

Good quality

The box I received was not the one pictured. It does not have the "snap" lid, but has a strap. It does not have the divider as described. Also the hold downs are cheap plastic, not steel. Most important, It is smaller than described. If it helps you, the measurements of the inside of the box at the bottom are: length= 13 3/8, width= 7 3/8, and depth= 8 7/8. There is no manufacturer name on it.It looks like an OK box but is to small for my use. For the price, it does not pay to return it.

The case is robust and I used two of them without issue. The most important two features are that you can lock the lid down with a secure clip on both sides of the tops of these and that there is an adjustable divider to adapt to different group batteries. I am pleased with them and have no reservation with the value of my purchase. They are exactly as advertised.

I purchased this box to house an oversized lithium RV battery. The battery should have fit based on the dimensions listed in the description. What was not apparent is that the box tapers and the actual dimensions at the bottom of the box are L=13" and W=6 7/8". The battery would partially fit into the box, but would not go in more than about halfway down. The box is otherwise a fine box, just be aware that it tapers from top to bottom.
