Initially, the plan was to brighten up the kitchen with these lights, but they’re not really long enough, and it will make the kitchen look wonky to only have 1 meter of cupboards underlit – that’s my own fault for misreading the description.So plan B: find a corner of my office to brighten up with them. And I do mean brighten. These lights can get very bright!The instructions are written on a postage stamp that had me pressing it to my nose in the hopes of understanding the text. The QR code to get the app is printed too small to work. So, to save others the hassle of making the teeny instructions and your face be one, you need to download the app “BanlanX”.Once you have the app installed, and it has paired with your lights, you can do all sorts of customisations with it. I have set mine to a very pleasing pink and turned down the brightness, because I don’t want my office to be mistaken for a lighthouse or aeroplane landing strip.But if you have light ambitions that go beyond “make it look like Barbie lives here”, you can do all sorts of customisations, with music or light patterns. I haven’t really explored that, because I just like things to glow pinkly in my house.You get a huge amount of lights on the strip – I’ve bought other cheaper LED strips, and they may be longer, but they have a lot of space between each light, giving a less consistent glow. And they do not have the level of brightness that these guys do.Love the level of customisation, so it’s a win for me. I will be back for more!

The media could not be loaded.  The app works well and it is possible the best feature on this strip but the strip itself is malfunctioning. Like half the strip has completely different color. You can see for yourself as to what I am saying in this small clip.

I ordered this to brighten up an area under the desk area where my PC sits. Pealing off the backing to the adhesive strip was the hardest part of all this process, however, once off it sticks well and has not moved since. The cable is easy to plug into a USB socket or plug and the app is super easy to download, pair and use. I've set the app so it automatically activates when the light strip is switched on, I found that is easier for me. I love the way the lights change to sounds, so while I'm playing music I can have disco lights as well.
