First cob the blade separated from handle and cut my thumb. Needs to be re-designed/engineered.

We always cut the corn off the cob. This peeler works great. It’s very light weight, stainless steel, easy to use and easy to clean. It cuts the corn off the cob easy and fast. No longer have to use a knife. Awesome corn cleaner. Great little tool.

The media could not be loaded.  I had another that is a "push" type and within 3 pushes I cut my finger. I like this pull type much better. Cuts clean and deep the first pull. I can clean end to end with one cut. So far has stayed sharp. Has some ends that jut out to protect your fingers. Great corn kernel peeler.

On my 1st use it broke couldn't even finish scrapping the cob

This thing is really sharp and cuts corn like butter but I couldn't get it to get the kernels off completely. It just sliced the tops off. I had over 70 cobs to strip so I had plenty of practice. I tried pulling towards me and pushing away. I manage to sliced my finger too as I was gripping the corn (which was wet after being blanched) and the sharp blade skidded sideways. I went back to using a bread knife in the end. It's a shame as I had high hopes after watching earlier reviews. Maybe mine was faulty and not shaped properly or maybe there is a technique I didn't get the hang of.
