Just recieved today and thought the seller has send me 3 pieces rod out of love but unfortunately I came to know that the small 5 cm piece was a broken piece of the smaller rod. The quality and component of the product is of poor material! Disappointed!

I have enjoyed Sougayilang reels and have had success with them. Obviously being a budget brand you are going to run into issues with quality control. No problems with their reels but I did experience a sudden breakage with the first rod I ordered.After posting review and photos detailing the failure the seller contacted me. Despite being beyond the limited time for warranty they made it right by quickly sending me a replacement.I am glad to say that I will be purchasing more of their rods and other products in the future. I am impressed by the customer service that I feel more expensive well known name brands would not provide being beyond their similar limited warranties.I was pleased with the action and build quality of the rod before the failure and contribute its failure to a unseen defect in the blank.

I first have to say I was hesitant to buy this rod since it was so inexpensive and the reviews were mediocre. But when I was able to buy it for $20, I pulled the trigger and gave it a shot.My Kastking Zephyr BFS casting reel is mounted on this rod with 10 lb, 2 lb dia yellow Power Pro. A few initial casts and yes this is a very flexible rod. I had to get used to casting with lighter lure, like 1/8oz and up to 3/8oz inline spinnerbaits and small crankbaits and topwater.Once adjusted to casting with this rod, I knew it's limits and how far I could cast certain lures. I'm so happy that the casting rod I received, the blank was straight and so were the quides. The 2 piece connection fits together smoothly and it's a good looking casting rod. The rod guides do not have any inserts, just SS guides. I do have to say the guides are smooth and casted lures nicely and good feedback.The reviews I read on here, most of the negative comments were for the spinning rod and no real problems with the casting rod.I was looking to getting a more expensive BFS rod from Major Craft, Dobyns or Irod, but held off to give this a shot. I'm glad I did, this a perfect compliment to my Kastking Zephyr casting reel and for my intended use.I did end up catching a small bass on an inline spinnerbait. I felt the hit and the rod fought the small bass good without the bass eventually coming unpinned from jumping. I guess this is due to the rod being that flexible to keep the treble hook in place and not get thrown. Looking forward to using this on lore occasions and whne trout season in the fall will be here.Give this casting rod a go If you are getting into BFS casting fishing. Only thing and this is minor thing that I don't like. The color scheme of the rod, dark gray and green; does not match up with the black orange Kastking Zephyr casting reel. After a few minutes of use it was a non issue.Never thought inexpensive would mean good quality, but in this case it does.

Sougayilang 602 ULAn absolutely great rod for the money, accurate lure weight description on rod, casts well anything above 1/8oz. All the way to1/2 oz.The setup im using is Kastking Zephyr loaded with 4lb Berkley Trilene XL 100ft on spool. I received the rod promptly 7-13-2022 and proceeded to the park for practice casting inline spinner bait 2.8gm in the wind17yds cast on average, with some bird nesting on hard cast because brakes not set properly on reel and casting lighter lures than rod is rated for (operator error) even with that there was sparks of promise.(Note:Please double check guides to make sure everything is aligned and proper because I received a different model rod from same company where the guides were sloppy and had to be muscled into propper position)This particular Sougayilang rod is stiffer(fast) than what I need for BFS, (I need a more moderatly flexing rod) dont get me wrong this is a fantastic fishing rod hands down! I personally just need a short rod to handle 1gm lures and this rod is best for lures above 3gmsUltralight with moderate flex(not fast) is the sauce for BFS where the rod flexes down the whole blank not just the top 1/3 making a rod whippy(which in theory causes backlash when tip swings back to center which was the case for the Sougayilang UL I tried before this rod) this model is the 602UL that I'm writing this review for.Next evening I took my setup to a local pond and made many many casts I managed a couple nice bass 1-2lbs near sunset I got them to come off their beds for top water popper lure (rebel lures) the 602UL has great action, the rod is so sensitive you feel any nibble so it was easy to set the hook. The 602UL is great spinner crankbait rod in the makingThe rod I received has a fantastic feel, sturdy backbone and seems well made and is lightweight, line guides are stainless with ceramic inserts, Sougayilang engineered a comfy grip for one or two handed casting. I can highly recommend this rod if your into tossing light to medium sized baits.The 602UL when paired with the right reel you have a serious setup for bass trout and panfish, however I never hooked a catfish carp or drum to see just how well made this rod is.I would give this rod a light fast rating, it is not an ultralight rod.If Sougayilang can keep up the QC they will become a great fishing tackle mfg co.The 602UL BUY IT before there are no more, its easily worth more than it is sold for on Amazon.Aloha from the double peninsula state (Michigan)

Light and balanced .

Hoping I could make a ultra light set up. Used 2 pound fishing line . When I got a bit I lift up pole and it broke in half. This was a little sunfish. Don’t buy your throwing away your money and wasting your time.l did not even get to enjoy the pole this was the first fish on it. Nice looking pole but don’t let that fool you.
