I love this rug! I adore color, so my space is very eclectic. This rug anchored all of my tendencies to bring what I like into my small home regardless of whether or not they will "go" with other things. Honestly, I'm a cheapskate when it comes to stuff like this. I avoided buying an area rug because I don't like the prices of large rugs, but at the same time I also don't trust the quality of inexpensive large rugs. I thought this rug was beautiful, but I didn't trust its quality based on the price. I am SO very grateful to other reviewers for their photos and comments, because THEY are the reason I ended up purchasing this rug! This rug is soft, but I wouldn't call it plush or luxurious to the touch. However, it is very comfy under my bare feet, and cushy enough for me when I sit or lie on it. Early days, but so far no shedding issues. It feels very quality & durable, and it's wonderfully vibrant! I absolutely love it. My only negative, and it's not much of a negative, is that it's been 3 days with those books on the edge of the rug (see pics) to try and calm the curl from storage/shipping, and I'm still waiting for it to be flat. Not a real problem, just an fyi. You canNOT go wrong with this 9'x12' price point of $218! As other reviewers helped me make this purchasing decision, I hope I can also help you decide for yourself as well.

LOOOOVE IT!! Exactly as described...love the design and colors. I highly recommend buying it. Fits perfectly with my style. Why did you pick this product vs others?: Because of the design and colors. Quality: Awesome quality. Wrinkles: No wrinkles. Unrolled with easy and layed flat. Look: LOOVE the color and the design. Texture: Comfortable to walk on. Slip resistance: Doesnt slip at all.

Very pleased to find, when I cut into the plastic, that there was no bad smell as you often get from a rug or similar item that's been sealed in plastic since the factory. It's a thin-ish rug, but it's as described in the description, size is as described, colors look pretty good, overall I'm pleased. It's not too thick, so it laid out nicely after I unrolled it, rolled it back up the opposite way, and let it sit for a little while. It'll keep settling as we walk on it. Not fancy or luxurious, but it's pretty soft, looks nice, seems durable, and I cannot stress enough how glad I am I didn't have to hang it outside for a few days or spray it with deodorizers or anything!

its pretty but rather thin

I have tile floors but recently purchased large area rugs for all rooms in my apartment because my two elderly dogs started having trouble walking on the tiles. I needed rugs that were large, affordable, and durable - and hiding spots would be a bonus (see previous comment about elderly dogs :-p). I also wanted them to bring some color and liveliness to my apartment. This rug truly fit the bill in the “color and liveliness” department! I loved the colors snd pattern when I saw this online, but it looked so dramatic that I worried it would be too much. I actually decided to go for it after reading reviews and looking at pictures posted by others, so I decided to do the same in case it’s helpful for anyone else. :) The colors are very vibrant in real life and I really love how it brightens the room up (the walls are painted a weird dark teal so brightening was desperately needed). It is soft to walk on and is holding up well so far. Also, it arrived very quickly and the dogs are big fans. 😜 Very pleased with my purchase! NOTE: This picture was taken at night, so take that into account when looking at the colors.

I bought this rug for my art studio room and WOW it did not disappoint. The colors are vibrant and it is well made. It did take a few days for it to completely lie flat so dont worry about that. There was no funky smell either. Do be aware though, that it may be 2 inches shorter or narrower than you expect, but I did read that ahead of time. If you are going to lie it on a wooden floor, I would get a pad.

OK, so this rug is really beautiful. It is not as "high grade" as rugs I have purchased directly at furniture stores before, but it is bright, cheerful and goes with the drapes I selected. My real "review" is about the fact that I may be having a severe allergic reaction to this rug. It has a VERY strong odor. I went outside today to try to get over a severe allergic issue with something(?).................and while outside I recovered. Until I came back inside and wrote this review......where the rug is.. I am going to put this rug outside to get fresh air to fix it. I hope it works because I am beyond miserable at the moment. I COULD BE WRONG. But I am sensing that the rug it is the issue because I have not had allergies like this in a very long time. There's no way to rate features like this and I have no idea if this rug is easy to clean. All I know is that since I put this in my living room, I have not stopped sneezing. UPDATE: I put it outside for a couple of days to air out which helped stop the sneezing. It still has a strong smell, so I may set it outside for a while again.

Gorgeous rug, colours in pic accurate. Definitely recommend a thick underlay to make it softer underfoot or to sit on. Unfortunately, this particular buying experience wasn't all that great. Seller initially gave me someone else's tracking number, which I only found out when it was delivered elsewhere a month later and queried it. Seller was meant to issue me with a new, correct tracking number but it was never sent/received so I had no way of knowing when it would arrive. It arrived late. Late enough that Amazon suggested I apply for a refund (which I held off doing, because although speedy service and the ability to track my not-cheap item didn't seem to be a priority, I really wanted this rug). But the annoying thing is - most of this could've been resolved quickly and easily if buyers and sellers could communicate with each other directly and not via a third party.

Such a lovely rug, perfect for my lounge and ties in all the colours nicely. Really good size and nice and soft.
