Works great and has protected my phone well
I applied one of these screen protectors a little over a year ago. I use it with a Spiegen case (This one, I think: Spiegen Neo Hybrid, but I bought it locally because I needed it right away. Highly recommended: https://www.amazon.com/Spigen-Herringbone-Flexible-Protection-Reinforced/dp/B0746Z1KYN/) I dropped my phone several times. The first time, my 3 year old daughter actually dropped it (well, she was 2 at the time) onto rocky dirt that was almost gravel... In my opinion, gravel is the worst place to drop a device because all the uneven rock surfaces are bad on the screens (as I found out with my iPad when its case flew open when I dropped it on gravel and decimated the unprotected screen). So, the SuperShieldz screen protector on my phone cracked. I hoped it was just the protector and not the screen, and I was actually scared to take the protector off and check my screen on my fairly new Google Pixel 2, so I just left the broken protector on. For about a year. And dropped the phone lots of times after that. Probably not the smartest thing to protect your screen with a broken screen protector. But I just finally took the time to put a new protector on the screen, and the phone's screen is in perfect shape. Yay! The protector did its job, and my phone feels brand new again. The video for installing the screen protector is very helpful, as is their installation method. It's easier than any other protector I've installed. There's a small gap between the protector and the Spiegen case, but that allows the case to fit, and apparently it wasn't a problem for the dozens of drops this phone experienced, even with a broken screen protector. The protector fits well on all the openings of my Google Pixel 2, no problem. I am super pleased with this screen protector and will definitely be buying more. Thanks, SuperShieldz!

It's fine. Like any tempered glass screen "protector"
Quick version: it's just fine. Works with cases, won't save your screen from a bad face down drop (nor will any other). Optical clarity is fine. Touch sensitivity is fine. You should have no issues.Long version:ok, I think tempered glassed screen protectors are stupid. BUT I did wear the anti smudge off my pixel 2 so I figured this might help.If you don't know what you are doing just let a friend install it. Same for uninstall. It's easy to get off. That said - anti-smudge is just so-so. But it's ok, will it last? I don't know. Will come back and knock off a star or 2 if it doesn't.Install is easy. I can't figure out why people are talking about bubbles? You poor things.. never had to use distilled water and a credit card as a squeegee. This is simple as it gets, no idea why the maker even mentions bubbles.First of all, clean your screen. Even before you order. If you sneezed on it or spit while you are using video chat or just spilled a beer on it, get the gunk off. Best to do it now. If you use alcohol or, my favorite, a DILUTED simple green solution, you should be able to get the screen clean and now you have time for any residue you left on to off-gas before you get the product. So now you have the screen. The microfiber cloth included isn't bad. You shouldn't need the other stuff. Power off the phone and wipe down that screen good. Get under a light. It should look like a black mirror.. no specs or anything. Make it perfect. Not hard. You don't need a clean room, just stay out from under fans and stuff. Put it on an angle under lights and look for anything that's "off" and correct. When you think the screen is perfect, follow instructions and align best you can at the top. Use something like a wooden or plastic toothpick or whatever (lint/dust free!) at the bottom to keep it from fully connecting. Now check the bottom and adjust as needed.. you can freely do that at this point. Take your time and once aligned remove toothpick or whatever and let it drop. Use cloth and smoosh it down from one side to the other. Bubbles? What bubbles? How do you get bubbles?Done! If you need to remove, heat it a bit with a hair dryer (or leave it out in the sun). You don't need a heat gun. And you get 2 so if you screwed up try again!I wasn't given anything for this review.. but if seller would like to send me some screens for my 4a that would be great! haha. I did find it amusing that this is so simple and it's like crazy reviews. If you are trying to extend the life or your pixel2 it can't hurt. It's about the most simple thing you can do. Changing the battery, that's another story.
